    The Allternative Gym in Hiram has two positions available!

     

    1. Assistant in the gym, training on site, Monday-Friday, 3:00-6:00 pm

    2. Front desk, Monday-Friday

     

    This gym provides personal training, massage, ADELI Suits, "The Cage", and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for children and adults with special needs. If you are interested in one of these positions, please send your resume to:

  2. Taylor's P.A.L.S. offers a variety of educational programs and services. These programs are offered on a sliding scale income basis as follows:

     

    Family income per year before taxes: $0.00 to $24,999= $10.00 per session

     

    $25,000 to $34,999= $20.00 per session

     

    $35,000 and above= $30.00 per session

     

    Income verification is a necessity for individuals seeking services on the sliding scale. Each session is considered 45 minutes. Out of county services are subject to billing of $30.00 per session.

     

    These are in-home programs.

     

     

     

    Services include:

     

    * Preschool Readiness Program: This program offers an assessment for the following areas: Cognitive Skills, Social Skills, Fine & Gross Motor Skills, Communication Skills, Adaptive/Self-Help Skills. (Standard fee for assessments are $40.00, including a summary of results and recommendations.)

     

    Ongoing one-on-one Special Instruction sessions will be billed according to the sliding scale. These sessions may be for providing direct instruction to your child and/or coaching you, the caregiver, to provide activities to use with your child throughout the week.

     

     

    * Tutoring Program: This program is for ANY child (diagnosed or undiagnosed) who has an academic need for tutoring. An initial assessment will be given on the first visit to determine strategies that will be used to meet the individual needs of your child. This program is based on the sliding scale income basis. Areas of concentration for one-on-one instruction include:

     

    State Assessment Readiness Skills

     

    Study Skills

     

    Reading, including pre-readiness skills through enrichment skills

     

    Elementary Math skills

     

     

    * Home Programs for children with developmental delays: This program is designed to create a home program in which the parent or caregiver provides one-on-one instruction to the child each week. A home program will be created to suit the individual needs of each child, including, but not limited to: Receptive Language Skills (What he/she understands), Expressive Language Skills (How he/she communicates), Eye Contact, Imitation Skills, Pre-academic Skills, and Self-help Skills. Once initial training takes place, visits will be made for consult and to monitor/update the program as needed. Data sheets are provided.

     

     

    * Other components that are included on an as needed basis:

     

    Life Skills Social Skills Play skills

     

    Brainstorming Buddy for at-home & at-school issues

     

    Referral Service & Parent Resource Center

     

     

    Other services offered:

     

    * Boardmaker/PECS Picture Communication System: This program is designed to meet the unique, individual needs of any child with a developmental delay. The possibilities are limitless! Fees will be based on the number of pictures & materials needed.

     

    * Social Stories: $5.00 a story, written to meet the needs of your child.

     

    * The ABLLS Assessment (The Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills): This is an assessment, curriculum guide, and skills tracking system for children with autism or other developmental disabilities. Fees will be discussed at time of consult.

     

    * IEP Reviews: This program is designed to ensure that your child is receiving appropriate and needed services based on his/her disability. It includes reviewing the IEP, a sit-down consult to discuss the findings, and recommendations. Fee: $30.00

     

    * Advocacy: Need someone to attend IEP meetings with you and be a voice of reason for your child? Fees will be discussed during your FREE 30 minute consult.

  3. I have boxes of stuff leftover. I have tons of men's clothes leftover....

    baskets, books

    I will be there at 10:00 tomorrow for a pick-up. If anyone is interested in coming to see what's left and making a deal.. let me know and I'll wait for you.

  4. What is this? Got pictures? How much?

     

    No pictures right now. Some of it sold today... some of it found it's way into storage.. I do have a ab machine for 10.00, an end table (golden oak) for 5.00, a coffee table for 10.00,and the dry erase board (backing for a shower) for 5.00. Those are left there and will be finding their way to storage tomorrow. :)

  5. I still have 2 coffee tables, end table (7.00), tv cabinet (15.00), bar table (wooden top and metal bottom)(15.00), stool(3.00), dry erase board (the board that goes behind a shower)(5.00), stroller for sale at the store... CHEAP! Also, a floor lamp, and smaller brown table (3.00)

     

    I also have two double sided display cases for sale!!!
