Freda and Mark... my thoughts and prayers are with you all.... It's so hard to put into words how saddened I am by this. Big hugs to you both...

Getting everything packed up and ready to go.. looking forward to meeting some news folks and seeing old friends... well, not "old"... just friends... LOL
-
I'll be there with tables set up for Taylor's P.A.L.S., the Paulding County Navigator Team, and Autism Speaks.....

Please let us know when you get your reply from the Temple. Bruce wants to be your groups escort into the circus and Allyson wants to be able to arrange some of her clown friends to visit with your group.
BTW it was great meeting you Thursday night!!
I sure will.. It was great meeting you all, too! I hope you had a great turnout! If I had known my appointment was going to cancel, I would have stayed to help, but I'm glad my aunt was able to help out!

Trying to spread the news. I have fliers available for putting in community businesses or other places. Please pm me if you know of a great place to put some!
Thank you to those who have responded! The Navigator Team is in the process of putting together a community resource packet of all the service providers who work with special needs children, teens, and adults! There are more resources in Paulding than most people believe... soon, we'll have the information all in one packet for parents to review!

I'm sending the form in to reserve our seats on Monday... anyone else want to go? So far, we have over 200 adults and children going with us, representing a variety of disabilities. It will be a great place to have fun, but also meet other families who deal with what you deal with, too.
-
What a great response we've had! I'm so excited! If you know of any other families with children/youth/young adults with special needs.. please tell them about it!
-
What is the cost involved?
-
That is so wonderful!!!! Congratulations!!!
-
What a great thing to do! Thanks for caring about the Paulding County kids with special needs and their families.

Is this the same group that was meeting in Hiram on Friday mornings?
-
For those who have asked... I will not need to send you tickets.. you just need to be at Jim Miller Park at 10:30... and we'll account for those whose names are on the list and walk in together.
-
Tickets still available....

Me and Bruce are thrilled that you are having a great response. The children are the reason that he became a shriner.
Also my daughter said she would talk to some of her clown buddies down there and see if they will give your group a visit before the show starts.
Taylor's P.A.L.S. Bruce is going to find out the answer to your question in the morning.
Thank you so much!

The list is getting longer and longer.. Anyone else want to go?
-
My daughter needs a job and she worked with me in my ladies gym, Figures of Hiram, when it was opened. Is there better contact information?
The owner just requested that resumes be sent to her.
-
anyone else want to go???
-
I sent you my resume to the email address that was provided above.
It's not actually me... but I know she will get it.
If I wasn't attached at the hip to my job (and you know I am) I would jump on that. They are really good people and would be good to work for.
I know!!!!

Man wish I could do this -- I love the special needs population -- But I have a job that works with my kids school schedule -- maybe when they are grown!
I know...

who serve special needs children, youth, or adults. If I have you on our Navigator Team database, no need to apply for that, but I AM LOOKING FOR THOSE IN BUSINESS WHO CATER TO THOSE WHO HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS... like those who cut their hair, or give manicures, or anything else. I'd like to talk to you about being listed in a resource brochure for local families and those families who come in for treatment from out-of-town and need assistance in finding services. Please send me a PM if interested...

Thank You for the information.
You are most certainly welcome!

We have the opportunity for FREE group seating at the Shrine Circus on Saturday, May 1st. The show starts at
11:00 AM and we should plan on arriving at 10:30. Free parking is included. Ramps are available for those who might need it. It will be held at Jim Miller Park in Marietta.
The entire family is invited.. parents, children with special needs, siblings.
To reserve your tickets:
PM me your name & phone number
the names of those who will be attending with you
the disability your child/teen/young adult has
I will assume there will be one vehicle per family
I MUST have your information BEFORE this Sunday, Feb. 14th to reserve your ticket! Please help pass the word to your friends who have special needs children! They can e-mail me taylorspals@hotmail.com to reserve their tickets.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to not only have FUN, but a great way to meet new friends, too!
