Just wondering what you meant by you have a Roku but no paid services.... What do you watch on it that is free?

Ordered Windows Vista. Hoping it solves the problem. Thanks for the help. The fees go up dramatically after the first year. We will probably switch back to AT&T then. It's like health insurance.

My husband feels the same way Vista has sucked every step of the way. I'm sure if we just break down and install Windows 7 it will fix our problem. Thanks for the advice on Windows 8. We will be sure not to get that. Will try your suggested links above. If we can't get it work we will get Windows 7.

Both setups are set to be automatic. Have tried both wireless and wired connection.

Connects to router but won't go all the way out to internet. Screen says "local only"

Switched to Comcast after AT&T internet went to $40/mo.....figured Comcast at $40/mo at least came with cable. Got all the machines to connect but my husbands laptop. There is a configuration problem. Machine is on Windows Vista. Comcast wants another $6/mo to fix the problem. Um yeah no. Any suggestions? We've tried everything listed online.

We did Staples turn in your old printer get $100 off a new one and bought a new one on sale. Don't know if they are running that now but you could call and ask. Between ink coming with the new one, I was out of ink in the old one, and the $100 off I figured I paid about $50 for the new printer and it was wireless.

Just wondered if anyone know of a cheaper internet service. AT&T has us at $40 a month now for just internet. I remember the days of DSL light for $15/mo. Any ideas?
