  1. He was on life support and passed away this morning.
  2. Glad to see chatter about this. I've been curious as well. At first I thought it was going to crash it was so low.
  3. Yes it's still there. There's also a new one on Canton Hwy in Marietta.
  4. Does anyone know what happened to Neat Repeats that was behind the Kroger at Crossroads? I went there today to check on some things I had in there on consignment, and the place was cleaned out. Now what I had in there wasn't worth alot, but still I might want it back if I can't sell it.
  5. Sitting on the front swing listening the birds chirping.
  6. Thank you for all the great advice on here. I will be talking to her in the next couple of days and will mention all to her. We have mentioned to her about moving to an assisted living place and I think now she is considering it. Theres one on Cartersville that we mentioned to her 7 years ago when she moved from Miss. to Tx. She wasn't ready for it then but now thinks seriously about it. She would be close enough to us that we could see her more often, but still have her independance. As far as incentives go, I think she was planning on leaving her ., which is only about 6 years old and h
  7. I need some advice from anyone out there in real estate (or anyone else). My mother in law is in her upper 80's and is trying to sell her house near Houston, Tx. so she can move here to be closer to family. It seems like everyone there is trying to take advantage of her by either asking her to be out of the house in 5 days (which would be really hard for her because she is all alone there) or they are asking her for her to pay incentives that seem rediculous to me. Also, once she sells her house there, she will need to find anyother one here. She would even consider an apartment or condo s
  8. Does anybody know what was going on? I live right next to Seven Hills Publix and heard the helicopters.
  9. Went to Homecoming at church, then ate too much in the Family Life Center with my church family, then to moms to hang out the rest of the afternoon. Good Day!!!
  10. One year, we brought an easter lillie home from church and my cat started eating the plant. I called poison control to see if it would hurt the cat, and they told me to put the cat in the bathtub and give her 1/2 a teaspoon of peroxide so she would throw it up. She did and she is 14 years old now and happy. I'm just glad I was at home when she ate it. So yes, please make sure it won't hurt them, then you can address the issue of them not making your plant look ugly with out it hurting them.
  11. First of all, make sure that what ever plant you bring in, isn't poisonous to them. I know that Easter Lillies are very poisonous to them.

Well, we went on Thursday and we had a blast. The water was higher than the last time 2 years ago but you still get hung up on rocks. Still, I would definitely recommend going. It makes a great day trip.
