  1. Quit last April when I moved here to Georgia :D Luckily where I worked no one smoked so I finally said hey I'll try and quit again, and it worked :) Plus I just couldn't stand to pay that much for them anymore :o

  2. Hmm, I'd say no, unless I just had something that was very abnormal, say a very big nose, or if there was a good medical reason for it.

BTW I sell Avon and right now they have a new product that just came out called Anew Clinical Deep Crease Concentrate with Bo-Hylurox. They are comparing it to Botox and say it is a great alternative :D

  3. Well normally it would be fries, but darnit it now I'm in the mood for some onion rings. I think I have a recipe for some baked ones I haven't tried yet :D

I guess I'm a little strange  I like my fries crisp or soggy, and I absolutely hate thin ones!!! And I dip mine in salt and then ketchup

  4. We are having the same problem with them under some of our bushes in front of our house. My CRAZY husband got stung like crazy while trimming our bushes and then went back to kill them and got stung some more. Luckily he was okay  We have put a trap outside and that seems to have gotten some of them, but not all. We have estimates on exterminating them and it was gonna run around $100.

Hope you can get rid of them pesky things... btw I didn't know about the not smashing them...interesting....they are really bad right not out at Braly Field and everyone out there has been smashing them ;)

  5. I always buy a big bag of tootsie rolls, our whole family loves em' And then it is whatever I can find on sale, etc. This year so far I've gotten ricekrispy treats and oreos, skittles and starbursts.

I myself almost started a school closed post but by time I heard it on the radio and went to p.com there was already 3! I'm thinking they all got posted at the same time and everyone thought they were starting the new thread

  7. You will put that on your tax return as other income on the last line and call is prize winnings.  You will probably get a 1099-Misc from the company if you win it.  And yes even if you don't use it it's still taxable.

I might have to take you up on that NavyEagle, of course after I've asked family first :D

Well darn didn't really think you'd have to pay taxes it if you didn't use it. That sucks. Guess I might be going on a trip then. Keeping my fingers crossed :)

  8. Yea it was with Kicks 101.5 :)

How much was your colorado trip estimated at?

I'm just thinking if I can't get the other 4 people that I take along to help pay some of taxes I might not be able to afford $2,000 in taxes. Granted it is still well worth the trip, but %10 would be much nicer :p

  9. Now my question is how do you find out what taxes you might be paying on such a trip? Is there any way of finding this out!?!? I mean if I'm gonna have to pay like $2,000 in taxes I just might have to decline!

I haven't won, but I do have a 1 in 24 chance and the prize is valued at $8,000. If I could just figure out what taxes might be and see if the people I bring along would be willing to help with taxes. How about if you claim the prize but never use it, I'm guessing you don't have to pay taxes then right?

Ugh, I was really excited and then my mom reminded me of taxes ;)

  10. Sorry, but it is true.  There is a little old lady in the fitting room who has a checklist of every 30 minutes.  Her job is to make the announcement.  No one goes around and makes sure that anyone is doing their safety checks.  It is mostly to deter the shop lifters, so that they think people are fixing to be walking around looking for stuff, not the safety of the customers.  She makes her little checkmark by the time and that is that.

That goes for tons of companies/businesses, they all have certain procedures they are supposed to go by, but some of them just don't get done. How many times have you been in a restroom and it was just disgusting, and you see the sign on the back of the door stating 30 minute check times and who did the check!

I prefer Target anyways, I've found their prices aren't much more and the SuperTargets grocery isle has some great savings! Plus it is much cleaner and the associates are friendlier :)

  11. I like getting this paper. It has informed me of new shops opening and that is how I found out about my son's soccer league. I do admit though it is very unsightly to see the papers piling up at the end of driveways. But for some, I mean jeez, if you can walk to your mailbox, why can't you pick up something from your driveway on the way there and throw it in the trash <_<
