From Northside News....
The stores moving into that area are: Super Target, Circuit City, Ross Dress for Less, PETCO, Books-A-Million, OfficeMax, Famous Footwear. The outparcels include Taco Bell, Steak 'n Shake, Longhorn Steakhouse, Panda Express, Fire Mountain.
I am so looking forward to Target coming!!!! I've never heard of Fire Mountain? I wish they'd get an Arby's or Burger King around there.

Does anyone know where I can go for an early, daytime Ash Wednesday service?
My church is having an evening service but I have school from 6:00-10:00 in Atlanta. Any replies will be greatly appreciated.
St. Catherine in Kennesaw is having one at 9:00 and 12:15

I know that we are in the flight path from Dobbins and Lockheed when they go to Alabama to do their maneuvers. C5B's used to fly over my house all the time when I worked over there. I have had the helicopters fly so low and shake my house so much, that they chipped some porcelin coffee cups I had hanging under my cabinets.
I heard 2 helicopters go over about a couple of hours ago, they were pretty low, but I didn't get a good look at them until they were quite far away.

Oh, thanks so much! I'd seen this place going up and tried to find a website with no luck In case anyone is interested under employment you can mail in an application!
-
ooh, it is so good! My family can go and eat there cheaper than most other places, and I love the big family bowls of food, I tend not to eat as much that way either. Plus if you sign up for their email notifications they send you some very good coupons every once in a awhile. You have to fill out a card there to get registered.

I live off 92 between the new Kroger's going up and 41, and I don't know if I'm too fond of a Walmart going there either, but I'm thinking more about the increased traffic!! It isn't that I mind the growth, but Walmart would probably bring in more traffic than any other store I can think of, besides a mall maybe. Plus I don't shop at Walmart too often anyways.
BTW I don't normally go past 92 up that way, what is the building that I believe is beside the citgo and movie place you all were talking about, I can see it from where I turn, just can't tell what it is, looks like a drug store???

Since we just moved to Paulding last year we are needing to go to the courthouse to file for this. I emailed an office supervisor there and she said the only thing I needed was a picture i.d. This just seemed to simple to me, anyone know if I need to take any other documentation?
Thanks

Ugh hubby though he had fixed our stove(he says it worked yesterday when he fixed it) well I got to bake something and it's not heating up! UGH! So now we have to buy a new one I guess. What's a good brand and who has some good prices? Thanks for any info.

Hubby said according to how fast they're going, but they could make it there in 10-15 minutes BTW my hubby helped build those!!!

We bought one about 5 years ago and I absolutly LOVE mine!!! Yes they are quite pushy though, fortunately mine was very polite It is true though they sell you it for what you will pay I think we bought our at about $800 and now some who have paid 1,000 to 2,000 for one. My hubby's grandma bought about 7 of them for her kiddos at about $500 each.

I highly recommend Dr. Elizabeth Taghechian of Marietta OB-Gyn Affliates. She has an office on Dallas Hwy, right past the entrance to the Avenues shopping center. Well worth that short drive. PM me if you'd like their phone number.
I also heard good things about her! I tried to get an appt. and they book like 2 months in advance, I had to leave my name and # and just wait for a call to make an appt. They also have an office on Dallas Hwy, which is the one I was trying to go to, where is this Kelly doctor located, also on Dallas Hwy?

I normally go every year and venture out about 5am, but this year since nothing really caught my eye too much in the ads decided 7am sounded a little better I was surprised to find everything I did want, no trouble finding parking spaces, but did wait in lines longer than I would have liked. The good thing with Black Friday is you usually get everything on sale in one day! And I love a good deal!

Me too! Got a free meal last year at Ruth Chris(sp) steakhouse! It was so good! And they just sent me a $10 mastercard gift card! How cool is that! Plus if I can find 125 miles I can send off for another $25 giftcard, hmm, just need to find someone who smokes

I quit smoking a few years ago but I still fill out those smokers surveys and Marlboro sends all kinds of neat free stuff. I got a couple CD's, a pewter lighter-case (for lighting the grill or brush pile), and a great Marlboro Man BBQ Cookbook.Have fun on your trip.

not good for Kroger's to be so different at different locations. And this is so true, every Kroger I've been to has different customer service, cleanliness, etc. I spend about $200 a month for a family of 4 in groceries, I shop at Publix and Kroger's once a week. I buy what is on sale and what I have coupons for. Kroger's has great sales on their meats! I used to dislike Publix when I first moved here, thought it was too pricey, but actually I have found on non-sale items they are much cheaper than Kroger's, Kroger's just seems to have more staples on sale then Publix. But Publix has become much better on their sale items. Lots of buy one get one free items:) I love Aldi too, they just opened one up on Cobb Pkwy. it is the cheapest place to buy produce. I now go in there every few weeks just to pick up produce and a few other staples.

My husband and I are from the same place, yet he is always making fun of the way I talk Says it makes me sound like like I don't know how to talk. I think that's his way of saying "uneducated" Honestly I picked up the way I talk from my parents, and it is kind of hard to unbreak something you grew up with. And I really don't care what anyone thinks about the way I talk, and of course I've told him this, but he still brings it up Even if I was uneducated, which I'm not, what does that have to do about me as a person. I think it is very sad that people think like this
