I don't like them either. I didn't pay too much attention to them though until my daughter received one last birthday and it was a "bowling" brat, well I could not believe the skirt she was wearing was so short! I mean she was bowling for goodness sakes! But the kicker was when I looked at the back of the box it said something along these lines "Doesn't matter how you play the game, only how good you look while your playing" I for sure didn't think that was too great a message to be sending to my daughter.

i am also a first time mom of a 6 month old,and sometimes she will fight her sleep so i let her cry until she gets histerical then i pick her up and give her a warm bottle and she usually nods off and i lay her in her bed on her tummy. which some would say not to, but it really depends on your child not what everyone else says. you know your baby better than anyone else.
My daughter also would only sleep on her tummy. I tried everything and nothing would work but that!

Anyway, they were supposed to send someone out to calibrate the meter, she said he would come anytime between that Tue and Fri, and that they would call first. I didn't receive a call by Thurs, so I called them...she told me the reading was right. I did a reading before I called her and it was only 191 therms...WTH...so I must pay this ridiculous bill...So today...10 days later it is at 210 therms...
I didn't look at our bill, hubby is supposed to call today though about the same problem, supposedly our bill stated we used 3 times as much as we normally do, which I just know isn't right.

I agree with this regarding obnoxious WADE drivers (the owner is the worse one). I switched to Trash Taxi at $12/month. Don't know what area you live in - they are out of Bartow and service some areas in the northern part of the county.
Wow, I think I'm gonna call Trash Taxi! I currently pay $48 quarterly for Wade!

I shop at Publix and Kroger's once a week, I'm a huge bargain shopper, so I usually only buy what is on sale and what I have coupons for...I normally spend $15-25 at Publix each week and $20-$30 at Kroger's. Kroger's tends to have much better sale on their meats, but I'm not too impressed with their quality, just okay. Publix meat is much better, I just end up buying the cheaper stuff at Kroger's. I'd pick up more things at SuperTarget if I had one closer! Can't wait till the one on 41 opens up, I'll definately be there once a week!
Also Kroger's also gives you the item free if it rings up wrong, I've already received 3 free items at the new Crossroad's Kroger, one item was a 4pack of salad plates reg. price of $12.99!! Woohoo!

I use them. I had to switch gyn's awhile back due to insurance change, which I hated to do as I loved my other doctors.
However, I truly like Dr. Taghechian -- she's wonderful!!! I have several auto-immune diseases, so I have to have a good GYN (as well as endocrinologist -- looking for a new one of those currently) -- and I can highly recommend her.
I love Dr. T ! ! ! I've never had such a sincere doctor!

Well at least Louisville might take it all the way, would have been kind of neat to see them both at the final game though. -
I agree these are not things to be played with, I've played with them a couple of times, and even made one as a teenager at work one time. I've had too many weird and strange things happen. Never again!

i always tip 15 or 20% depending on how our money situation is going. I usually only leave 10% if service was not good. I normally always get water to save money and never get the steak LOL But hey, why is it you have to pay more of a tip if the entree you got just happen to be worth more $$ The service would be the same no matter what you ordered!! I would never factor in the price of a coke just because I ordered water, kind of defeats the purpose.

I have cingular. I use mine mainly for emergency use. I pay $20 and the minutes last for 90 days, sometimes I don't even use all the minutes up in 90 days!!! But I have found this the cheapest way, I end up paying about $7 monthly.

I always try my best to not go over 50, it is hard though, I know around a lot of those subdivision entrances there are signs saying 35!!! I've never been able to slow down that much, though I know it is hard getting out of those subdivisions, I have a hard time turning off Old Stilesboro Rd.

I agree with the rest of you here. I've worked in many restaraunts and some of the things they would take points off for had nothing to do with the preparation or storing of the food. I think maybe they should just take off less points then what they are doing now for those things that are quite minor.

I just got a menu for this new place, located of Dallas-Acworth Highway and Old Stilesboro. I've been wanting to try it, but then I read their opening food inspection scores that were posted.......not too good. Anyway, just wondering if anyone has tried the food, and what your opinions are. Thanks!
I live right behind there and we have ate there several times now, quality is always good, have yet to be dissapointed. We usually just get pizza or calzones and of course we think it is yummy!

I've only been to the one in Kennesaw...went there one time, and won't go back again! I agree with above poster, tasted like it came out of a can! But if you are eager to try it you could do what I did(thank goodness) buy a gift certificate for there from http://www.restaurant.com/ use code 89500 for an extra 60% off but this code Expires tonight! They normally always have codes floating around though.
