  1. I looked the TV pilot up on IMDB, and found a little bit of info- not much, but at least the main actors and a quick plot summary. Here's the link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1918057/fullcredits
  2. Thanks everyone! It looks like we will have plenty of options. Everyone be safe and have fun tomorrow night!
  3. I'm just looking for ideas or suggestions for Halloween events that are actually taking place on Halloween night. My son has been at his grandma's house this weekend, so we're missing all the events taking place today. Also looking for events going on tomorrow evening, if nothing available on Monday night. He's only three, so sometimes trick or treating is a little too much. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  4. I would also love to have a Hobby Lobby out here- I like it so much better than the other craft store in Hiram. What email address did you send that to?
  5. Granted, I scanned all three portions of the document, and it's 2:00am, so I most definitely have missed something, but I didn't see any mention of any district other than APS. Did the news report mention Dekalb and Douglas? As a future employee of one of these counties, I'm very curious to know if they have also been accused of cheating. I did see a mention at one of the APS schools' teachers going to another teacher's house "in Douglas County", but this teacher was an APS employee. Should I try to find the news broadcast of the report to find the mention of the other counties? Ne
  6. That's very helpful- thanks so much. We have plenty of soft foods on hand, have bought him some new puzzles and lego-type toys, and have a library of borrowed movies that he's never seen. I will also look into some board games- I never thought about that. Thanks again!
  7. My 2.5 year old son is scheduled to have his tonsils removed Wednesday morning at Scottish Rite. We were just at the ENT's office today for a check up, and his doctor suggested that he go ahead and have them removed. We thought we would have a little bit of time to prepare him for this procedure, but due to our school schedule, needed to go ahead and get him scheduled so he could fully recover over summer break. My husband and I haven't been through this procedure before- any advice you can spare? He will be staying one night in the hospital, and then, of course, limited activity for
  8. Thanks for the advice, guys! I think we will definitely give it a try, skip the snacks and bring our own, make sure we take care of the restroom break before we leave the house, and get there about 30 minutes early. We'll also sit up front so he can move around if he wants to. Maybe I'll see some of ya'll there!
  9. Thanks for the input- keep it coming!
  10. I'm trying to decide whether or not I should try to take my two year old to one of the free movies this summer. Does anyone have any inside info, such as, are the movies playing on all screens so there's room to spread out? Do you need to get there at a particular time to get in? Is there usually a line backed up- I'm not sure my child will do well standing outside in a line. One of the reasons I haven't taken my son to a movie before is because he doesn't have a volume level on his voice- he just talks! Are there lots of children talking during the movie, or will I get the evil eye if
  11. I have the opposite story. We had AT&T for over eight years, and now that we have Verizon, we've never been happier. The coverage is better, the price is better, and the customer service is better. I'm very happy we switched! I have an older slider version of the Droid, and I can surf the web and talk at the same time....maybe it's based on what type of signal I have when I'm doing that? I'm not sure, but I've done it before. Good luck in your search!
  12. I second winston's comment- we love the YMCA! It's the cleanest, largest, and nicest facility around. Miss Ruby in the infant room is amazing, and the perfect person to watch a baby. She is loving, motherly, and gives each of the babies all the special attention they need. When my son moved up from her room to the older infants, she would tell his new teachers how to fix his bottle, what he likes to eat, how to help him get to sleep, etc. Some of the things we looked for when touring facilities were interaction between the children and the staff, how open and welcome the facility is,
  13. I'll check with the other music teachers in the county- be sure to also email her music teacher and ask them if they know anyone. Also- the Dallas Cultural Arts Center offers lessons in a variety of instruments, and Ken Stanton music offers voice lessons. The closest location to us is the Powder Springs location across from the Avenues. Good luck!
  14. Any Pre2 classes this summer? My son would love gymnastics, but isn't three yet. We were hoping the summer schedule would offer a class for him so we could see how much he liked it before enrolling him full time in the Fall.
