This is very true....20 something years can make a big difference. My husband tells me I need to quit thinking "all" teens are innocent. Fortunately all the ones I know (and that's alot) are good ones. I have 4 children, 2 girls age 21, boy 16, boy 11. My son is constantly telling me how good I had it when I was a teen and why can't we just give them a break. We have talked about how different it is now. But Papi, unless these teens are spending money I betcha Stars & Strips would not welcome 75 or so kids hanging out in there....just a thought.
Ah, but you can hear the machines whispering "put a quarter in me Billy Bob".

Ya can't fix stupid.

I don't know how old you are but I'm 43 and I can remember hanging out at the Paulding County Plaza with my friends when I was a teenager. We just had no where else to go and it was a good meeting place. I remember hearing the same concerns from adults back then until the cops started putting up chains, pulling kids over and running everybody off. We use to talk about how cool it would be if someone would just pave this huge parking lot where we could all hang out and nobody would get "upset" because we were being teens. How soon we forget how it was to be a teen. Too bad we can't just give kids a break.....
41. It's free to walk in the doors of the place, no need to just stand out in the parking lot. I think it may be an intimidation factor for some folks. Not me but for a lot it might. I'm a pretty big ole boy.
What soccermom said.

I really hope they control the parking lot situation. The 1st weekend they were open I could hear whooping and hollering sitting on my deck. On the other side of Dallas Hwy.
I've not noticed the same problem lately, but I quit smoking so I'm not sitting out there.
I hope so too. They have a location in Cumming so they should be well versed in dealing with redneck teens.

I hate to hear that there were kids hanging out in the parking lot! We LOVE going there. I hope management takes care of that quick.
Time flies when you are there, doesn't it? We are having such a good time you just don't realize how long you've actually been there!
We walked out about 10:30 and there were at least 75 teens just hanging out in the parking lot standing around in little groups talking and grab-assing. Sooner or later this clique is going to say something to that clique and the brawl will ensue. Kids flying around in thier cars. Spoiled little Jim Bob in daddy or mommy's Mustang GT spinning his tires as he pulled out of his parking spot. There was a red Ford pick up sitting in one of the traffic lanes of the lot with no one in it and a group of about 20 teens standing 15 feet away. I assumed the driver of said Ford was with that group.
Everything was great inside. They just need to get a handle on the parking lot. Even during the week.

I took my kids last night, 16 and 19, they LOVED it. I didn't think the prices were all that bad. I spent $50 for bowling and games for the 2 of them. We stayed for almost 4 hours.
The only problem I saw that will become a major problem and drive people away is all the punk ass teens hanging out in the parking lot. If it was that bad on a Wednesday night, I can imagine what it's like on a Friday or Saturday. The need to invest in an off duty LEO or two to keep the punks from ruining it. Even during the week.

Been up most of the night. Gotta be at work in 3 hours. Figured I would just say the hell with trying to sleep and just get up.

I would love to see something that didn't have a country/biker theme.

When hiring out a car restoration you have several options.
Good. Cheap. Quick.
You only get to pick 2.
Good and cheap won't be quick.
Cheap and quick won't be good.
Good and quick will most definately not be cheap.

Ding Ding Ding - we have a winner - that's me at 75%!
Could be worse. I was looking at 95% until my son decided he wanted to live with me.
There will still be alimony.

Maybe the lesson in this is that they were in the place they were because that is where they belonged.
