I really need to get this sold fast because my daughter starts college next week and something tells me it's gonna cost me some money. So......I will settle on $350 cash. Although there is no hood, this is still a rather nice riding mower with the bag and all that. 400 would be a steal, IMO. For 375 (an extra 25 dollars) I will even deliver it locally.

I'm almost finished with a black Yard Machines Lawn Tractor. 12.5 HP Briggs flathead engine, rebuilt carb, new fuel line, filter, etc. 38" cutting deck, 7 speed automatic drive, good tires all around, WITH BAGGING!! I just replaced the front end with a barely used, heavier duty front end that'll last a LONG time. The only think missing is the hood. I'll be asking $500 FIRM for this. I have a long list of buyers, so the first one that can at least put $200 down on it, it's theirs, as long as they can have the rest of the money within 3-4 days. I will even deliver it for free!!!

Folks, it's official now. After moving in with my GF, I decided to just relocate the shop too. My new location close to Ridge Road and Hwy 61, not far from the Publix. Give me a call if you need to drop off any mowers, and I'll give you more specific directions.

Thanks for the input folks. As one poster said, "google is your friend"....The idea is primarily my finance partner's idea. Rather than dismiss the idea outright, I can direct her to this thread. She has some other great ideas, and is really wanting me to succeed, and I appreciate that. The last thing I'd want is for her to invest money in something that won't give her a return. I believe this is one of those ideas that would not help her at all. Thanks folks!

My friend, (and business capital partner) wants to set up a site domain, in which I can field small engine questions for a small fee. Has anyone on here ever ran such a site? I think it's a great idea, as well as she does, but I wanted to research it some more before she drops money on a domain and whatever fee may apply in setting this up. Questions I have are mostly, profitability, and my required availability to field questions in a timely manner.
Any input into this would be a big help. Meanwhile.......bring me your sick, or dying mowers, so that I might repair them to your satisfaction.

Snubby I have a 15 year old Weed Eater lawn tractor that still runs fine so I would like put on a mulching kit but it's too old to find one thats made for it. Is this something you could handle ? I also have a power washer that needs repair.
Shouldn't be that hard to do. All you need is a cover that will block off the discharge, and some good mulching blades. The blades are easy to get, but the mulching cover may take some looking around, and I could fabricate one from something close to a good fit. I'd be happy to handle whatever you need. Just give me a call at 678-315-8794 anytime. I'm not able to correspond much on pcom while the season has me hopping in the shop and on the road.

One final word before I head off to Vegas for a week. I will be gone all next week, but will be back and open on April 14th. Feel free to call while I'm away and leave a message. I will get back with you when I get back home. In the meantime, if your mower doesn't start up this year, please do the following:
Drain the old gas is if it had any in it (loosen the bottom bolt on the carb and allow remaing gas to leach out until dry. Tighten bolt, THEN refill tank. Pull spark plug, clean it with a wire brush (even an old toothbrush and solvent is fine), regap to .025", reinstall and try again.
On riding mowers that won't turn over well....CHECK THE BATTERY FIRST!! Charge at 2.0-10 amps. Never 20 on a stored battery. Make sure there is adequate ventilation, or better yet, charge battery OUTSIDE. Pop caps first, and check cells. Cells that are low, add only DISTILLED water to level out. Then charge. If nothing, wiggle and shake the parking brake lever, and blade engage lever to free up any stuck safety switches. If all this fails, please call me and leave a message. Thanks folks!!
