  1. I have a Dell Inspiron 530 PC with Intel Quad processor Link to Inspiron 530 (it is super fast) hooked up to an LG 22" flat screen TV (for my library/study/home office use). The TV has all the inputs "normal" tvs do these days but it also has the PC input. You use the remote to flip between the PC monitor or TV viewing. The PC is also connected to the internet with CAT5 ethernet cable so that I may download, etc with it. It does run VISTA, so if you use this operating system remember to allow LOTS of extra RAM for it. This computer system was purchased at Best Buy last summer.

BTW, I also have a Dell XPS laptop that was purchased online with Dell last summer and was customized to my specs. Dell will set up payment plans but they will charge interest unless it is a system that they are having a 6-12 months interest free sale on. The interest free sales are frequently on their newest models.

I hope this helps. Good luck! :)

  2. oh yes she does..it was something similar  .

LMAO How did I guess? One day I will make it out to some of these Pcom functions to meet some of you. :)

Did H.P. pass out? I am going to play some games. Good night all.

  3. I am here, just have a headache. Probably from not sleeping at all last night and only a 2 hour nap today!

oh sorry! LPPT violated me  :o

Haven't I heard something about LPPT giving out "bewbie hugs"? LOL

  4. Some sort of a summer cold is going around. Two co-workers had this and now I have it.

Mine started out with an allergy type symptom with a slight scratchy throat at times and then went onto a very bad cough and nasel congestion.

This sounds EXACTLY like what we had in April and in the exact same order, but we think it was the flu because hubby ran a 101' fever for 4 days and was sick for a week. I was sick with it for 2 weeks, which is typical for me with the flu, then it turned into a sinus infection. I missed my own 40th birthday dinner for 3 weeks! I was ticked off. Watch for a headache, body aches OR fever, those will tell you if it's the flu or a cold. Of course by the time we figured that out it was too late for Tamiflu.

Our Dr. stated that the swine flu symptoms are mild but extremely contagious and that "our bug" could have even been that! I hope you feel better soon! :)

  5. Any specific brand that is better than the other?

Easy OFF? I believe it comes in a maxium strength too. After cleaning put some foil in the bottom of the oven for easy clean up of future spills. My hubby loves broiling meats in the oven (been there and done this on the spills and clean up!). :)

  6. I have used them for years and love them! If you order online they also make special sizes for suits, coats and even wedding dresses. I also have some that you "roll" the air out of for travel and suitcase packing.

  7. We just endorse the check and deposit into an ATM. Thankfully our ATM prints a copy of the deposited check onto our receipt. Then if we need it transferred into another account we just do the transfer by online banking. Problem solved. Since hubby is out of town for up to 2 weeks at a time I have had his permission to endorse a check in his name and I just put my initials beside of the signature, but I have also used an ATM and our joint account to do this. Sorry you are having problems Pubby. Oh and btw, we have one account in both names (household), an account in my name and an account in his name (work expenses), this helps some.

  8. I am wondering with 10 brothers and sisters how could they decide WHO owns the home? Is there really only one owner? There are only 4 members of my grandparents family who have been arguing over the land for 10 YEARS! So how could you decide which 1 out of 10 brothers and sisters would own the home and not have hard feelings between the rest? It is horrible what happened to this family's home AND the demolition company should have at LEAST checked with the county to see who owns the property, but I can't help but wonder about the story too.
