  1. Oh I can top that. How about when you don't get anything and then....

The hubby says to you, "Well, we were gonna get you a card, but there were so many people standing over there at the cards I just said screw that!"

    -_-

yeh, that's not cool! haha my sister-in-law's husband always said "you'r not my mama". But she was the mother of his beautiful son. what a jerk.

  2. Thanks everyone for your input. And justamom for your story! My mom lives in New Hope too and people always want to look in her yard. She has done a lot of digging and landscaping over the years and found a lot of glass bottles, a medicine bottle and an old iron, that's about it. Again thanks, I think this sounds like a lot of fun. I enjoy a good ghost story every now and then :) Stacey

  3. Where is the tour? I am from Marietta and have never heard of it.

I do know that the Kennesaw Hotel, where the Marietta History Museum is located has ghost. I have been there numerous times and have never actually encountered one though.

When I was in high school in the 50's, we used to go the St. James Cemetry at midnight on a full moon to see the little girl statue cry. The cemetry is on Polk Street across from the Old Marietta High School. We did see it cry. In recent years, I have wanted to back to see if this was just silly teenages, or what. Everytime I have been by there, at night, the gates are locked.

Wow, that's crazy! I know that is one of the stops on the walking tour, Kennesaw House. I don't know much about it except that there is a website (ghostsofmarietta.com) and it says the tour is about 90 minutes through the streets of Marietta. The tour begins on Church Street. I don't wanna see any statues crying though!!

  4. I didn't even know about this until I was surfing the other day. I'm always looking for new things to do here. I moved to GA 13 years ago and I've been like a tourist the whole time! A lot of history here, of course. But back to the ghost tour, I'm just wondering if it is like a real "ghost hunt" type thing or just something for fun? I'm not looking for any real ghosts, don't want any part of that! I like the fake stuff just fine! thanks for any info....Stacey

  5. My Dr just added Zoloft to my meds to help with PMDD.

    Anyone ever taken it?

    Did you have side effects?

I started feelin' a little crazy and angry after my second son was born. Dr. talked with me for a long time about it, then she prescribed Zoloft. I was on it for many months and I could feel a wonderful difference in my moods. I was just calmer, never felt loopy or like I couldn't drive or anything. Then when the baby blues started to dwindle, I began to take less and less. I had no problems at all. Wish I had a prescription now!! haha

Where is Seagrove? Is that anywhere near seaside? I love seaside and grayton.

Looks like it is beside Seaside? It's part of the Beaches of South Walton? I posted a couple months ago about it and there were some people telling me how gorgeous it is, so we're booked! I hope you have fun!

  7. It was explained in tonight's episode that Denny's "ghost" was caused by Izzy's brain tumor.

I don't know when the season ends. I'm just glad they didn't pin her end on Derek.

Oops, I was back and forth last night so I missed a lot of it. My little one did not want to go to bed. :)

You may want to use this as a reminder to talk to your children about the appropriate responses when approached by a stranger.

You are absolutely right on!! That is exactly what I did when my son got off the bus. And no I didn't warn him against red s-10, just anyone trying to approach him. I appreciate the heads up from CG, she was trying to let people know about a "potential problem" in the neighborhood. You have to be careful period. AND look out for one another.
