  1. Speedy trials don't happen in Paulding. I know several cases that were thrown out because they could not longer prosecute because of statute of limitations. I was hoping with the new court house being built, they would add on some new courtrooms and judges and get through these cases faster, but it's not happening. I think the time spent bringing people in over and over and over again for a calendar call is very costly to our county. There has got to be a better way.

Never said speedy trials happen anywhere. Just that it is a basic right.

  2. First off in the almost 13 years I have been married I have been out with the girls maybe 4 times.. Been away from him over night one time and that was to haul a friend to NC. So don't even start with that double standard shiit. I rarely ask to go off with friends and if I do I might go once out of 20. You are wrong in this case my friend.

Its a general statement not specific to your situation.

  3. WRONG The facts are she has been begging to go there and he has not taken her but he wants to leave her behind and go with his buddies...totally different thing.

Not wrong. It is dead on you just dont want to admit it.

If the girl was going with her girlfriends she would not want the ball and chain dragging along spoiling all her fun.

  4. Women will say no way no how is he going. But if they wanted to go with their girlfriends and he said no..................well let's just say it would not end pretty for him.

    Repeat after me................double standard.

  5. There is no way to give an accurate answer because there is to many unknown variables.

If they are going to plead guilty it will probably go pretty fast, if they want to plead innocent and have a lawyer they will drag the case out as long as possible.

We are entitled to a speedy trial if that makes any difference.

  6. I just love facebook. I've had it for a while, but just started really using it this week since my DH has been out of town. I've found so many old friends!!~

But I have already deleted some people. Sucks to know that I am still on there list. I hope they delete me for the same reason I deleted them. It will make me think twice before I agree to accept people. :o

If you delete them from your list you are removed from their list also.

  7. Found it, the answer is no.

ETA: if you delete someone from your friends list you are automatically removed from their list also.

  8. Is state tax figured by your work location or your residence.

Other words if you work in one state but live in another who do you pay state taxes to?

I am thinking it is based on your residence.

  9. Normally 7-8 days.

I think that is the fastest way to get your refund.

Thanks Purdue... I hope you pay more then you expect...

    Why is it Sonny's fault?

  10. You can have bad credit and buy a house. When we bought ours 7 years ago, we both had HORRIBLE credit. I had a bankruptcy, late payments, you name it .. thanks to my divorce. However, nobody was after us for money, We had the income, and proven stability .. that is all they wanted. The only thing I had to do was pay off a dental bill .. and we got our house. Our score was LOWER than 600. I had bad credit, and he had NO credit. And we got it with nothing down, since we were first time home buyers. 8)

7 years ago if you had a pulse they would give you a mortgage. How do you think this whole "crisis" got started.

Now days it is a lot different, thus the question.

  11. I am thinking if they wanna remain friends they don't need to do this

right now is not a good time to Co-sign anything for someone.... What happens if they default...your stuck

It's your name on the loan, not theirs

I am all for helping someone out but not like this

In this situation it would be a married couple.

  12. Sort of a strange scenario.

What if a person with what would be considered bad credit, just below 600 with a bankruptcy but has the income and a person with excellent credit 780 but not enough income were to team up to buy a house.

Puts the house in the person with the excellent credit but uses the income of the other person to cover the loan?

You think the banks might go for that?

    Hypothetically.
