Okay , I Finally got it to go MY way !!! YaY !!!!!! 2 Nice Men form the Georgia Transmission came to my house and said they would not chop them down ..only take off the top cone ! I am so happy and want everyone to know that there are good people still out here ! Those two men were amazing and so very nice and told me the guy was only telling me what they told him . so now I get to keep my trees ..Maybe somewhat shorter ..but I get to keep them !!!!!!!!! Thank you ! I just explain the updates in the last Post !

and I appreciate you letting me know...I get it completely ...But Why , If getting to the lines is the issue ,can't we cut them below the 10 ft. that they are stating is the law ? We didn't know about any 25 ft law when we planted them.... again , we planted them on our property , Not the easement .

I can understand topping them for sure , But cutting them all the way ? I feel if they do this they should re imburse me for what I paid , which wasn't cheap .

Thank you all for your Responses ! I am going to try and call Grey stone today and the county commissioner ! I didn't plant the trees on the easement nor the fence ...The problem is the 25 ft law .. I am so frustrated about this and Hope to get some answers today ! I will post what I find out ! THANK YOU ALL !! From this Pic ,It looks like they are close , But they aren't .. I just want to Top them , I even told them I would have them cut to the fence line . He said no ! I think you may be right ! He said they were a contractor though the Power company , They even cut down my Neighbor's fruit trees ! They should pay me for them ! It has been 7 years and They have never said anything about it before now , They have cut a lot of trees along the road today

Small Vent , 7 years ago when we moved in our House we planted 25 Leland Cyprus Trees , They have grown to be Beautiful! Our yard backs up to Dallas Nebo .so we put a privacy fence up and planted the trees on the inside of the fence . Today a company that was clearing the easement came to my door and said that anything that grows over 10 ft. has to be chopped down , I asked if I could top them and they said NO , They do not even come close to the power lines . I asked to them to have their Manager call me , He took the number and said he would pass the info to the Manager . My question is :

I am still full from the PCOM lunch ! lol ! so Nothing for me .
