We ate at the Corner Cafe today. This was my second time to eat there. It has been very good with good service both times. I hope more people eat there so it can flourish in the otherwise bad economy. I like this kind of local place! Try it for lunch .

I have a friend who filed for divorce and was told the other party had thirty days to respond. There was never a response and the lawyer said there was nothing they could do about it. They scheduled a mediation to settle the property and the other party would not show up for it. The lawyer said again there was nothing to be done about it. I guess they will just stay married if that is what the legal system says!

Teachers are paid for 190 days of work which comes to about 9 1/2 months. Their pay is divided into 12 monthly payments. They do not get paid for the two months they do not work. The EPHS parking lot has not been paved in over 13 years and possibly not since the school was opened in 1991. They have frequently repaired potholes and finally are doing the whole lot which has been needed. I believe this was originally planned about seven years ago.
