Don't forget to tell everyone that we also have a great selection of ammo. It is getting very hard to find now and we try to keep a good selection of all calibers and sizes.

yep she ain't had to take a flash light to the out house or skin her own dinner in years or heat bricks in the fire place and put in the foot of the bed to keep warm either some women just don't know how good they got it

That was my thoughts, at least she knows I am the same now as when we first met. Our first date, over 11 years ago we went to Ryans, but she didn't mind then. I took her out of the woods and she thought we was up town, I think I have spoiled her over the years, but she is well worth it because she is indeed the light of my life

ummm, I think you had great intentions but maybe Ryan's isn't the place for Valentine's day, maybe a better choice would have been Mcfarlane's or something like that. The night is still young, get out the candles, draw her a hot bubble bath, maybe a massage & a hand written note of your unending love for her. That is a great Valentine's gift

Today we had a bunch of errands to run, the kids were getting tired and hungry so for a valentines day dinner I took my wife to Ryans and I think the whole trailor park had the same idea. During dinner she began making comments about how romantic I was.
I'm not sure if she was serious or sarcastic, sometimes she is hard to read, especially when I can't get her to talk to me any more

Aren't you getting a better value with the 24hp anyway? Why would you want the 22hp marked down to the 24hp price?
That was my thoughts exactly but like I told them if they were willing to work with me we could make a deal but if not I would go with the other. I would rather have the bigger motor, maybe even a blown 454 would be good, but if the price was right I could sacrifice
They were both the same price, I was wanting them to lower the price on the one with the smaller motor, if I had to pay the same price I would definetly choose the bigger motor just as I did

Thanks for the advice guys, actually yes I am a Dave Ramsey expert. I have listened to his show everyday for the past 2 years and have read everything that man has had to put out plus every other financial book you could read, the millionaire next door, richest man in babylon, think and grow rich, personal finance for dummies, the wealthy barber, etc.. the list goes on and on.
That is the reason (reading all books above) I was knocking out the debt left and right and plowing through credit card debt (paying them off) and paying off my car. I would have been done with my debt snowball right now if the economy has not tanked. Yes, I know Dave Ramsey would not recommend bankruptcy over $33,000, but when you can not pay any of your creditors and only have enough for your house, food, utilities and vehicles, it sure does put a different perspective on things. Of course he would say to find a 2nd job (delivering pizzas), and thats fine and dandy for people who have time to and no kids, but with 2 kids and a wife who is a manager at a retail industry the hours are too scattered to be able to apply to another company and tell them that you have no clue what hours you will have available because you need to watch the kids while your wife works and her hours change every week, that just doesn't work.
The thing is guys, I only just have enough money to cover my house, utilities, food, the basic stuff to survive. After that is payed, even if all my credit cards put together were just $20 a month I would not be able to pay them. I took a 50% cut in pay, just imagine if you had half your salary coming in, what would that leave you with. I leave the heat on 55 degrees and everyone in my house has been wearing sweaters and whatnot to keep warm this winter. My A.C. broke last summer at the beggining of the summer and we lived without A.C. all summer long and it looks like this summer will be the same. Believe me, I am saving money where I can and am not spending frivolously on things I don't need. We have a $200 budget a month for groceries a family of 4, so I am definitely doing everything I can and am sacrificing a lot.
I have faced the exact same thing a couple of years ago but I lost more along the lines of 75%. I had my own bussiness and lost nearly everything, but my main goals were to keep food for my kids and a roof over my head. I do not believe in bankrupcy but I done the best I could, I had things repoed and my house forclosed but the credit cards went to the back burner. All the dept is unsecured, they will threat and scream but there is really nothing they can do, in my sitiuation everything was already gone.
Don't sweat the small stuff, your first priority is your family, the rest is details, pay what you can ,when you can and when things pick up you can catch up. You have already done all you can so don't sweat it, it is aggrivating and makes you feel bad but that is the times we are in, they had the govt. bail them out but they are not willing to bail you or me out, that stinks, I lost my house and they get bailed out something is wrong in this country. All you can do is the best you can, they know the times are tough on everybody, everybody is having to adjust just like they will adjust until you get back up.

I was in the market for a new lawn mower, had already picked it out and there was 2 stores in Hiram with them. The first is big orange, but when I got there theres had a smaller engine, a 22 hp as to 24 hp at the other place for the same price.
I talked to them but they were not willing to reduce the price, exact same product except for the motor size. I told them I would rather go to the tractor store and get the bigger engine if I had to pay the exact same price and they was ok with that.
Makes you wander why they are having to lay off so many people.

Walmart used to have them in the hardware section with the air filters, don't know if they still do or not as did Home Depot

When a server uses the computer to print out the receipt, they have the OPTION of adding the tip to a party of 6/8 or more, whatever the restaurant's policy is. At least, when I worked at O'Charley's, that is how we did it. I, personally, never added it on there because I found that I made more tip $$$ if I didn't add it automatically.
I agree, woodsandwater, you shouldn't have to tip for crappy service
I agree if you leave it off and work for it you will get it but don't force me to pay for service that is no good - maybe that is why they add it in, because they realize they did not earn it so they try to force you to tip

I don't know that I blame them, though. Unfortunately due to the economy or whatever, customers are leaving and not tipping at all. If one cannot afford to tip their server, they cannot afford to eat out...
Well with the economy the way it is most places are trying to make deals not run thier patrons off by adding additional fees to a bill, if the waiter works hard they will get paid
If I don't do my job when I go to work I don't get paid. Times are tough for everyone but this was bad business as far as I am concerned and I will not be forced to pay for bad service.
If the service is good a waitress can make good money as with any job if you work hard and do a good job you will benefit from it

Today we visited a steak house in Hiram, we frequent this place and we are a party of 4 adults and 4 children but today when the bill arived they had added an additional 16.50 for gratuitty.
Before any one gets bent out of shape, I don't mind tipping, but I do believe the waitress/ waiter should earn there money. When you have to flag them down for service I do have a problem. The waitress/ waiter was rude and very short, when we questioned her she said they had been doing this for about a year, but we have never seen it, we told her we did not want it added in that we would tip according to the service we recieved. She jerked the check up and stomped off.
When she broght it back she said they did take it off but as of March it would be 18% and it would not be taken off, we told her that was ok because they were not the only place around and she tore off again. We flagged the hostess down and asked to speak to the manager. He was very nice but we recieved the same thing, He began to mention other restuarants was doing the same thing, and we politley told him we would not be back, we was not going to be forced to pay for something that was not earned. He appologized but that is the way it is, We told him thats ok because we would do bussiness else where.

I have been taking BP meds for nearly a year now for what began as slightly HBP. I just changed meds on Tuesday from Cardura (2mg) to Norvasc (5mg). Every since last week my BP has been running around 150/100 and I can't seem to get it down. I have kept headaches and felt tired and blahhhhhh.
Really begining to annoy me which makes my BP rise......
Anyone else go through HBP (stupid question I know) episodes? I am thinking I may need to call the doc and get this med changed already or if it were you would you wait a few more days on this med to possibly work?

The Dr tried me on several meds because mine ra on average 130/90 but none of them would budge it. Then one day I saw his partner for some reason and he asked me that, I said my wife says I sound like a freight train and he recommended a sleep study, I too stayed exhausted all the time.
After the sleep study they said I quit breathing 30+ times an hour, said I had sleep apnea, give me a cpap machine to sleep with, sleep better now, don't feel exhausted any more and blood pressure is 70/110 and I am a relativly large person.
Maybe something to check into, it helped me maybe can you.

Ok, I was looking at my map program. If you start at the Red Top exit and go across and connect to Old Alabama Road, it put you right at 61/113 and the Cartersville Airport, but you are still no where near 278 . Maybe I am missing something here. It is still a long way around either 61 or 113 to get to the PC "Airport" without cutting across the Braswell Mtns.
It was supposed to be a lot of things it isn't and likely will not be for a very long time.
They have actually moved sections of 113 by by-passing Taylorsville to come straight to Rockmart. When you get to 278 you turn left and it is only a few miles to the airport.
They could possibly cut behind the new Rockmart High School and come out some where around Coots Lake without going through the Braswell Mtn area and save a little time
I came through there today coming from Hwy 20 above 75 and came down 113 and it took only 30 minutes to get to Rockmart and when they finish that will probably be cut in half

I bought a 50 lb bag of cracked corn a few days ago . I have bought cracked corn at this same feed store many times before with no problems. Well when I opened the bag and put my hand into the bag I knew without looking into the bag that something was different about the corn. When I dipped my can into it and tried to spread it on the ground the wind blew most of it away before it reached the ground. It looks to me like chaff [ corn hulls ] with wheat straw ground together with just a little corn ground with it. I think what I got would have been discarded before. I am just wondering if I just got a bad sack or if they are trying to save money at our expense. Has anyone else got cracked corn that was this way? Not mad about this but if the next bag I get is like this then I will find another place to buy my corn.
Sounds like to me you may have got a bag of growing mesh. It is for baby chicks, I always get this when I have hatched some chicks, all it is ,I think is ground finer so the small birds can eat it. Check the tag on the bag, or maybe they bagged it wrong.
