  1. Sad thing is that that picture could have been taken in 2008 or 2009.... I think about that everytime I see churches and groups collecting money to help people in another country. I wonder why they do not open their eyes and see that people right here in the good old USA still live that way and they could use the help. I have to wonder if they just like to have a MISSION in another counrty.

Amen, people around us get overlooked, I have heard it said there is no poor or homeless people in paulding county.

Times are tough, as you said that could have been taken yesterday but people are refusing to see the ones that are struggling around them.

With so many foreclosures how long will it take before we begin to see that because it can not be hid any longer

  2. it is not the snow that is so bad, snow is like mud but the ice that comes with it, nobody can drive on ice

Just watched WSB in Hiram and of course, out of all the people in Paulding County they find a New Yorker that wants to comment on how there is nobody in Georgia that can drive in the snow?

All I can say is if you don't like my driving stay your @$$ off the sidewalk!

well the same after a storm, it is always a big lady in a moo moo, hair in curlers, no teeth and a cigarette

  3. When you are a kid your parents won't let you go out because they are scared you will get hurt

My wife won't let me out because she is afraid I will fall down and get hurt <_<

I guess life takes you full circle but I ain't going to take it sitting down :p

  4. nope not yet.....fixing to head to walmart.........not for bread but shoes for the kids. By the way we already got our sleds bought them at sams 4 years ago--------never got to use them but we got 'em ;)

Better get them before it snows, I remeber as a kid walking to school bare foot in knee deep snow, up hill both ways ;) , so you got to keep them little toes warm

  5. Milk and bread?

My wife called me complaining that all of the enchilada seasoning was sold out! :p

I am glad to see something besides milk and bread. If I am going to be snowed in I plan on eating something other than milk and bread. If the power goes out I have a coleman stove and a fire place, I will still be able to cook

  6. I'll oppose anyone losing their rights for anything! It's that simple, and I don't care how long the law has been around, doesn't change the fact that you people are glad other people's rights are being taken away from them. What do you think is going to happen when someone decides you deserve to have your rights taken away from something you did? Then same thing that is happening here, most people are going to gossip that you deserve it and probably should have known better, a few people (myself) aren't going to give a sh*t if you beat your woman to within an inch of her life or you just slapped her cause she didn't shut up when she should have, you still have rights.

Yes you still have rights, The Right for the Police Officer that shows up to turn of any cameras and close any doors he needs to and sets in to putting knots on your head faster than you can rub them.

Any man who would raise a hand to his wife or child in anger should not have a right.

Everyone can get mad but to abuse someone you love there is a problem, maybe if more women tied them down with a bed sheet and warped a iron skillet around his head a few times these abusers would see things in a different light, through swollen eyes

A word to Tow and any other Officer, I give you my highest regards, when it comes to abuse of a child or a women I do not have any tolerance and I would get in trouble if I were in your shoes

  7. Just another crappy segment to an already nerve~racking month.

    TOMORROW'S ANOTHER DAY.

Maybe tommorrow is the today you were hoping for, make the best of everyday because you never know when your last will be or the impression you have to make on someone who is looking for a kind word

I hope tommorrow brings you peace and happiness like you have never known

  8. Ok I will try

Monday hubby had surgery (so now I have 5 kids and him to wait on)

Tueday toliet stopped up had to spend 200.00 for a new one plus get someone to put it in ( cause hubby can't because of surgery)

    Wednesday Horse died

    Did I top it ? ;)

Sorry to hear about how your week is going...........Maybe the next few days will bring brighter moments for us both.

We all have some bad days and good days, hopefully alot more good than bad but at least we are better off than the horse

  9. This afternoon we was headed towards Dallas from Mt Olivet loop, got to the driveway where Southern Plumbing used to be and there was a Paulding Sheriff had traffic stopped, maybe 25-30 cars then there was 2 four wheelers crossed the road and he got back in his car and left.

The 2 on the atv looked like maybe a father and son, just curious about why and found it a little peculiar they would stop traffic for that there is probably more to it

  10. The boards (and the home run swings while stretched across the desk) the principals used to keep in thier office always seemed to iron the seat of my pants out enough that I did not want to push my luck any more, and then the child abuse that would come from the principals abuse when I got home.

Made me happy to mind my manners while at school

  11. Not nearly as long as it would take you to make me an omelet!

I don't know I am pretty handy with a pan and eggs and cheese and ham and bacon and tomatoes and potatoes and onions

Are these hard boiled eggs? Scrambled? I think this is a trick question. <_<

six of one and a half dozen of the other and so on
