  1. This week, there is a short story w/ pics in the Dallas New Era about our Talent Show. I wanted to let you all know how proud I am of all the talented kids who performed. We raised $1,000 for the Mayors' Christmas Motorcade--all funds raised go toward buying holiday gifts for mental health and special needs patients at Rome's NW Georgia Regional Hospital. A special thank you to Joe M. Turner, who made an EXCELLENT emcee for our event, and also showed us a different side to his talents when he sat down at the piano twice and played and sang for us!   2. Lady Raider, after watching it last night, I think I am a fan too, it's a good show! Seagal is a pretty cool deputy sheriff, it is interesting that he truly is an 'action' star in real life. I think some other action stars have the stunt guys step in, but Seagal is the 'real deal'.
