  1. We try to eat there every Thursday, the food is awesome, service is great and Danielle, always makes a point to talk to all of the customers. He even opens the front door, when he is able to. Oh and the Brownie ala mode, is delicious!!!!!!!!!

  2. I noticed they were saying Ivy Trace and the next time Ivy Crest and then they said Ivy Trace again.

I kept hearing 2 houses on hwy 61, across the street from PCHS, was on fire. It was more like up the road and around the corner. Why can't they air the correct info, or just say "in the vicinity of" so and so.

Half of the time they don't know what the heck there talking about!!!! :pardon:

I know they just read what they're given to read but, c'mon...... Carrollton County or Lewis Grizzerd (this is the way the reporter pronounced it, NOT Griz zard) We catchg mistakes like this maybe 3 or 4 times a week.

  3. This is a one pan meal and I cut up my chicken into smaller pieces, instaed of having to cut the chicken on the plate. I sut the chcken into small pieces, dredge it in the mayo and onion soup mix mixture and slow cook in a frying pan, Oh my goodness, this is sooo good!!! I don't eat mayo on/in anything except potato salad, egg salad or tuna salad but, this is awesome!!!!! It's a Publix Apron Recipe. The Shrimp Enchilata was awesome, also.

    Zesty Chicken Orzo

    Ingredients

    1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 (.87-ounce) packet onion gravy mix

1 1/2 pounds chicken breast cutlets

    1 1/2 cups water

1 (10-ounce) can milder diced tomatoes and green chiles (undrained)

    8 ounces orzo pasta

    Steps

    1. Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high 1–2 minutes. Combine mayonnaise and dry gravy mix in medium bowl. Coat both sides of chicken, using tongs, with mayonnaise mixture and place in pan. Add remaining mayonnaise mixture to pan and cook 1 minute on each side until chicken begins to brown.

    2. Stir in water, tomatoes (undrained), and orzo until all ingredients are well blended. Cover and cook 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    3. Reduce to medium; simmer (covered) 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most of liquid is absorbed and orzo is tender. Serve.

  4. Weight Watchers is NOT using the points system any longer but, this Mixed Berry Crumble is soooo delicious, I cooked one today.

    4 points per serving/Prep: 7 min/Cook 40 min/Serves 8

    2 c blueberries

    2 cups raspberries

3/4 c all purpose flour (I use self rising)

2/3 c packed light brown sugar

1/4 lb butter (1 stick) melted

Preheat oven 350 degrees, Plce berries in a medium bowl. In another medium bowl, combine flour and brown sugar. remove 3 tablespoons of the mixture and gently toss with berries. Place berries in an 8" square baking dish. (I use a glass casserole dish)

To make topping, add melted butter to remaining flour mixture, combine well. Crumble little bits of topping over the berries. Bake until the berries just start to bubble, about 35-40 minutes. Cut into 8 pieces; serve warm or at room temerature.

This is soooo good and it's even better with some vanilla ice cream. The ice cream blows the points out of the water though!! 8)

  5. Donations are awarded a point value based on size of donation. This will determine the number of times you will be entered into the drawing for the TV. There are many charities looking for help this year and we are hoping to build some excitment by making it a game. Thanks to all who are participating!

You might get more people to look at the thread if you change the title. I wasn't going to look at it myself but, then I got to thinking, I could be reading it wrong.

Also, you might want to tell us how many points one could earn with what kind of donation. As in, 1 point for $10 donation/value or 2 points for $20 donation/value and so on. jmho

  7. Hello, We are Couch Recycling Service.

We started our business this year because we noticed that there was an extreme need to advocate RECYCLING in this county.

The cities or county obviously do not have a funded public program to carry-out the residents' recycling needs. So, if the county

can't afford to provide the bins and the labor, Couch Recycling Service will! Our fee is an affordable $10.00 per month, we

pick-up weekly, and your green recycling bin is FREE!

My family and I are avid recyclers and consider it very important. We have to take care of our Earth, protect and conserve it!

We are very excited about the start of our new company and hope you are too. Contact us if you would like to start RECYCLING!!

Are you a commerce member???? What is your contact #, I do not see one posted. Welcome to Pcom, we have been wondering when we would get one in our area. This is a huge need and we would be very interested in your rates.
