Blueberries, Blackberries, Silver Queen Corn, Golden Queen Corn, Eggplant, Tomatoes, Yellow Tomatoes, Squash, Zucchini, Cucumbers, Peppers, Hot and Regualr Bannan Peppers, Onions, Green Beans, Figs, Peas, Honey, Fresh Eggs and maybe some Muscadines. Our special guests this week will be the Phoenix Squares Dance Club with a walkabout and information as well as a NEW VENDOR...OLD MAN POPS POPCORN! Caramel Corn, Cookies and Cream, Kettle Corn, White Cheddar, Toffe Crunch and Cinnamon and Sugar....Let's hope there's enough samples!!!

  6. The heat was good and hot and The City is going to bring out the fans a little earlier as well as Mayor Rollins said we have a misting hose of some kind. Gonna find that too and see if we can hook it up. The drink stand will be out earlier and I'm looking for a shaved ice vendor too. Hand fans are being priced out for distibution but I don't know when they will arrive. We are also going to order some more signs to hang around Beatty Street to tell people that the market is going on during it's open hours.   7. WE ARE SO EXCITED TO WELCOME BUMBLE BEE BAKERY TO THE HIRAM HARVEST EVENING MARKET TONIGHT! THERE WILL BE AN ASSORTMENT OF DELICIOUS BAKED GOODS AND FRESHLY MADE BREADS! COME CHECK IT OUT!

  11. I have spoken to Bumble Bee last week and have tried to contact them today to let them know we have space. Our hope is that they will join up with us starting next week. The other "baker" we had called today to cancel and it is too short a notice to get a replacement for tomorrow
  12. Yes there will! Some things aren't in yet but I have about a dozen vendors that are produce only vendors that are expected to attend and will bring the produce they have ready. I expect that once the "word" gets out I will get more calls from farmers who want to participate.

  16. We have a BUNCH of vendors...SO EXCITED!!! Still looking for a local honey producer and someone who loves baking bread and wants to participate. Also looking for local musical talet, such as bluegrass, jazz, christian, folk, etc to have a booth and sell their cd's, or they can send me cd's and we will play them at the market for folks. If they REALLY want they can play an informal session , but we are NOT hiring for this. We just want to showcase local talent and enhance the market while promoting their music!
