I know someone on another forum posted a "bad experience" they had with one of our employees not speaking to them when they came in. I just want to publicly apologize for that and if anyone else feels they were ignored at our store, I am so sorry. One of our girls was very sick the last few days with migraines and I think that may be a factor so please know that we are here to serve and offer the best selection and customer service in Paulding County!!
And if you ever do have a problem, please let us know about it first so that we may get it corrected!

posted in the yard sale section regarding Ramsey's Financial Peace University classes. This weekend on Saturday
and like, 10 or 15 families selling their stuff.

HA - I WISH!!!! I'd be there every single night for that.
The husband is waiting on crab legs that are steamed for us and oyster on the half shell. We'd all be in heaven then.
We can order those for you but the oysters aren't going to be in season right now... months that end in "er".

Hey there... we have some really great prices, especially on our veggies and fruit. And our meat is Black Canyon Angus, which is a far better quality than any grocery store in town and the prices for meat are in line with what your paying at Kroer,Ingles or Publix. We are buying directly from the Dekalb County farmers market twice a week and wecan order most meats by the case if necessary to stock up those freezers for the long haul.

MORE NEW STUFF!!!We have listened and now we are carrying whole beef brisket and flat iron steaks. Kabobs can be ordered upon request with filet or sirloin.
We also have taken our mouth watering, thick, center cut pork chops and seasoned them with HEAD COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP DRY SEASONING and are selling them in family packs for those busy grilling weekends. There's also Black Canyon Angus ground beef, pre-made ground chuck patties, and variety of other family packs, like chicken, thin cut chops, ground chuck and thin cut steaks.
The market style hot and mild sausage is prepacked now as well and we have added an extra sage variety too.
And those sweet, seedless little round watermelons are back and only $3.99 for a whole one!!!
The vidalias are FLYING out the door and with good reason...
Here's a great weekend baby back recipe using
1-2 Racks of Pork Baby Back Ribs (or more if you are really entertaining)
Head Country Championship Dry Seasoning
One Large Vidalia Onion
1/4 cup water
Head Country Original BBQ Sauce
A hot grill or oven.
1.Preheat your heat source of choice to at least 350 degrees.
2.Take a liberal amount of tin foil and lay out on work surface.
3.Take ribs and break into half racks and stack on foil after you liberally rub
the dry seasoning all over one side of the ribs.
4. Peel and cut one large vidalia and cover top of ribs and add water to mixture.
5. Close it up and place it in the oven or on the grill for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
Leave it alone for the first hour and then check it every fifteen until the
meat pulls away fom the bone very easily
6. Pull off the heat and pour BBQ sauce over liberally.
7. Eat a whole rack without sharing with your friends or family.
Ask scarletindulgence's hubby about this recipe because he was in the market today and was able to sample. He also was
supposed to make this for dinner tonite... hope it turned out for him!

are your veggies and fruit grown locally?
Some are and some are not.. We've been approached y several local farmers and we have expressed interest in buying from them when their crops
are ready.
We do buy from the farmer's market down south twice a week. But like strawberries, they are coming from California right now because the local ones haven't been harveste yet and alot of the farmers here have U-pick places and don't offer the packaging for resale.

Did you guys buy out the deer cooler? Do I have to find another processer?
Don't be worried...we've been processing deer for 16 years and will be there again this year!!!
The meat market is the other half of the house that is there and it has it's own freezer and cooler, separate
from the processing!

Would you special order Ostrich or Buffalo/Bison meat? I can't find it anywhere but Harry's or Ingles (ground Bison) and would LOVE to shop somewhere closer than Harry's for meats.Call on Monday afternoon after 4pm and ask for James andhe can tell what specialties he hasthe availability of getting.

Wow... what a great weekend it will be to work in the yard, grill a few steaks, invite the neighbors over....WEST METRO PRODUCE IS HAVING A FLOWER SALE, BUT THIS TIME EVERYTHING IS 50% OFF AND EVERYTHING MUST GO!!!We also have loaded up our stock on Ribeyes, T- Bones, NY Strips and Filets in anticipation of the grills being fired up....FINALLY!!As always, we have fresh produce including vidalia onions, whole seedless watermelons, fresh okra and corn (yellow and white), gala, fuji, red delicious, golden delicious and granny smith apples, white and red seedless grapes, strawberries, pink grapefruit, sweet oranges and tangerines and SO much more!!!And don't forget the delicious Fresh Frozen goodies we have too! Breaded okra, breaded green tomatos, creamed yellow and white corn, field peas, corn on the cob, broccoli, stir-fry mix and lima beans. We also just got a new shipment of assorted french fries, crinkles, tater tots and steak fries and delicious breaded onion rings.Try an Idaho baked potato or sweet potato with that steak and if you want to try something really good, how about some grilled pork chops or go a step further and make up some chicken kabobs with cherry tomatos, green bell peppers, mushrooms and sweet vidalia onion slices.Well, I can't do much more for ya as far as ideas, but I can promise one thing.... Here's what we did the other night:
Soak pork chop in Italian dressing, then take DRY ranch dressing mix and rub (or sprinkle) it on top. (I know it looks gross). Then bake in the oven until done about 20 minutes.
They were great!!!
