I made address lables on a computer that had Windows XP..... I cannot read it on Windows 7 or W 8.1. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

Well, I have been hearing abt W*, but had to get a new laptop, (& it had W8) it will drive ya crazy trying to figure it out. windows 7 , took me a while to get used to from XP, But 7 much more explanatory. W8, you are on your own on figuring out stuff. NO one I have ever talked to , likes W8, just saying, wish I had listened.

Please. find one that does NOT have windows 8..... even if you have to get a refurbished one online (cheaper too)

Well. I loved my windows XP, (& still have for on desk top, hubby uses that for ebay only) I got a laptop w/windows 7 , got used to that & like it . that laptop had issues & I got a new one , it has W8.... I hate it.

Seems everyone is divided in their like & dislike between Comcast & ATT. But my problem was just solved in making the CABLE switch. U-verse TV is not available in my area yet. I went online & put in my phone # & address. & I talked to my DiL, who has the u verse internet & phone... (& cable) Thanks everyone..

I have Comcast cable. AT&T phone & internet service. Have had Comcast for 15 yrs. No problems except they keep trying to raise my bill, but I found a away a few yrs ago to get then to go back down.. I wouldn't change anything , but the call today (not the letters) said they are doing away with DSL. (this call was an 800 # but she was in Texas, as we discussed the weather. )

Are you saying I won't have a land line phone? Altho I do have a cell phone , I want to keep my landline. And I don't really care about a faster speed nor do we watch a lot of channels on TV, just certain few.

I have been getting letters about AT&T U-verse. Saying I now have it available in my neighbor. It says I can choose to keep my current speed or upgrade to higher speed. Either way they say, I need to call & tell them my choice before March 16 or my internet service will be interrupted. So I get a phone call today & she said they have sent me letters but haven't heard from me. I said , yes I got the letters. She said ok, lets get you set up here. For your information, I have a family member that is a custodian & couple weeks ago, they were all called to a meeting at their school about this & this is what they were told by their boss. No, I was not at the meeting, but I know they are all concerned about their jobs & insurance. And the kids that they all care abt. Maybe this is a premature scare, but that's what they were told...... And who told them, Kim, I do not know..... and no dates were given on a meeting or voting, just that they will be at some point, to consider "outsourcing", NOT that they have voted on it alread
