  1. in SP Ed. you are not required to take the graduation test these kids are on a diffrent cirriculm. BUT they have to attend school every and keep their grades up. You would think they would get something for all their time. It's not fair (I said it was a whole nother subject) thanks for asking.

So this is what I have to look forward to with my kiddo? wacko.gif

    Makes zero sense to me.

I was asking because my little sister graduated with a Sp Ed diploma. She, however, was dyslexic and in SP Ed classes in middle school and maybe early high school. When she didn't pass her Science grad. test after the third try, they let her walk with a Sp Ed diploma and (two years later) she received a 'real' diploma when she passed the test.

I thought this might be an option for your daughter, but it doesn't sound like it. sad.gif

  2. Ew. I've never liked public 'toy' stores. I always feel like I need to shower after I go into one. :bad:

I think it's hilarious how many people keep asking if there REALLY is a toy store in Hiram.

Get in your car and go see for yourselves! :p

I used to do Starship because I didn't know I could have personal delivery, with a warranty. Now, I just order them from myself. :ninja:  I hated it, though - creepy people opening the toys and putting batteries in them to make sure they work first? :bad: Didn't even want to touch them afterward.

They do sell one thing I typically couldn't get anywhere else...but now I can stream that online for free. :spiteful:

  3. Did you miss the earlier thread about supporting new local businesses?

AND..I see "emergency dildo deliveries" right up there with beer on Sundays...

If you don't know yer gonna need it on Sunday and ya don't plan ahead, don't knock on my door Sunday mornin'.

You must plan ahead. Things around these parts won't change much, right?

They still believe that if you can't get beer on Sunday, you won't drink on Sunday, and if you can't touch sex things on the weekend, you won't have it.

And I'm sure they don't. Sunday or not.

I've made TWO of those this week, actually. :ninja:

  4. Yeh, I would love to know why it was OK to send pictures of Paulette's mug shots to every house in the county. To be quite honest with you, I don't care for EITHER candidate. But I am a registered Republican and always will be.

    Stacey

I  Will Avery and I didn't like getting the pictures of Paulette's mug shots. So much, in fact, that I didn't even bother to read the flyer or see who they were from. They just went straight into kiddo's scrap paper box to be turned into snowflakes or stick-glued inventiones, like all the other junk mail we get.

  5. Nah, it makes him look human. If that is even him, not sure. I don't think this was a campaign picture. I'm pretty sure you had to dig that up from some time before he even decided to run. Like I said, is pretty funny. So glad nobody took any pictures of me that time I fell off the motorhome at a NASCAR race. THAT would have been a great picture!

I couldn't withstand public scrutiny like these candidates have had to endure. If I had to choose, I would say one them definitely came out smelling like a rose compared to the other one.

    Right?

I don't know a single person, including my sweet grandmother, who wouldn't have some kind of embarrassing story or picture to use against her during an election. Politicians are people, and all people make stupid choices and mistakes. Often, 'stupid choices' for politicians are choices that regular citizens make on a daily basis anyway.

Lord knows I've flipped off a camera or two in my day. :ninja: Guess I'll never be President. :(

  6. You know it REALLY REALLY worries me that someone like you is pushing Will Avery...makes me VERY worried about even thinking about voting for him. You know they say crazy is as crazy does and you are known for the people you have around you. I see if he does not do something about this it could cause him to loose many votes and maybe the race as well. I guess he needs to decide just how much "help" you are and IF you are worth it...that will tell me alot about what kind of man he really is. If he can not keep his "so-called" supporter in line or if he does not publicly put a distance between you and him then we will all know what he is really made of. Of course it may be that you are really out to hurt him and you are really working for the other side and this is just your underhanded way of going about it. If so it is working. It is not Will Avery names being talked about as much as it is YOURS and Mr. Avery is only getting a secondary mention and a question about just how connected he is to you.

I have nothing against Animal simply because I've never bothered with the political threads and don't know how he 'acts' on the board (of off, because I don't know him personally)...but I do see his posts and cringe. He's really doing more harm than good and I absolutely hate that for Will, because he's a great guy and a great candidate. He has my support, but you don't see me posting threads about how great he is and bashing other folks. I simply tell folks to try and see in black and white instead of red and blue for a minute, listen to what he has to say, and make a decision for yourself...we all have different opinions and want different things, he may or may not be the candidate for you.

Wish other folks could do the same. :glare:

While I can not control what any of my supporters say just as I can't control what anyone who doesn't support me says, I do not condone the way Animal is presenting me. While he is a supporter of mine, I think it should be toned down and lets look at the issues rather than at "he said she said" kinds of arguments.

This thread is not the place for any discussion of me, my campaign, or my supporters comments about me or my opponent. This thread is about a family that is going through troubling times. Regardless of how we all feel politically, we all need to keep the family in our prayers an keep politics out of this discussion for now.

Sorry if any of my supporters have offended anyone.

    Will

And this is one of the many reasons why I love Will.

Some of his supporters are acting like a couple of members that can no longer post here. It's not a good reflection on Will. ;)

    Some, not all!

Some of us with the other 'supporters' would shush up and act like grown folks. :ninja::p

  7. Just wanted to share. Tonight I used one of those McCormick recipe insparation spice packs that come with the pre-measured spices and recipe card on the back. I was skeptical but due to my extreme laziness and temporary lack of creativity I decided to try one (Garlic lime fajitas)It was really good!!

Where might one get one of those McCormick recipe inspiration thingies.

Preggo here is refusing to make 'from scratch' in the hot kitchen.

    snacking on sour grapes.

    Oh, that sounds so good!

  8. WOW...You blame everything on this! Suck it up!

Maybe its not for you....just sayin. :pardon:

    ohmy.gif

Never blamed a bad mood on it. I believe I have blamed my carpal tunnel syndrome, my ring finger being swollen, and my tiredness at night (which are all normal pregnancy symptoms)on it but never my mood. which I quickly apologized for.

and how dare you say it's not for me. Show me a woman who dosen't complain while pregnant. I don't think you could find one. oh yea and bite me.

Thats was unnecessary and hurtful. I'm beyond happy to be pregnant, I have wanted this kid for a long, long time and for you to suggest otherwise really pisses me off. Do me a favor and don't comment on my comments.

Pft. I blame my mood on pregnancy alllll the time and I'm nowhere near 32 weeks. wink.gif 'What's your problem?' Ummm...I'm pregnant. biggrin.gif Dude should probably read up on pregnancy symptoms. I love being pregnant...when I'm not exhausted to the point of multiple naps, dealing with all-day nausea, trying to find bras that fit but don't hurt, getting fed-up with my ever shrinking wardrobe, cursing my inability to take pain meds for the repeated hormone induced headaches, etc. etc.

Pregnancy ain't easy. nea.gifAs a matter of fact, it sucks so much they have an entire section of books at Barnes and Noble dedicated to surviving it. laugh.gif

  9. I have one word to say to you and that is Obama!!! I will be working hard against YOU and the Democrats!

    unsure.gif

So...because Obama sucks, all democrats suck? That's one helluva blanket statement. There are good and bad in every 'group', whether political or not. happy.gif I typically don't agree with most Republicans, but I don't automatically think I won't agree with any of them.

  10. Look this guy is well spoken, educated and in touch with the people of his area. This is the time to vote for the best person for the job,put away who goes to what church and who knows who. Let's see who is the best I want to draw the line. Let's have a debate between the two canidates. Winner takes all make it public, and this will be the day of discovery.

    All in favor?drinks.gif

I don't claim a party. I also vote for who makes sense to me. I met Will at a rally shortly before he announced his decision to run, and I absolutely loved the guy. Had zero clue that he was going to be a politician...much less in my county...but everything he said made sense. I'm definitely keeping an eye on him...so long as he quits blowing up my facebook email. ninja.gif (Joking!...kind of. tongue.gif)

  11. lol you know I can make anything for you :)

Lemme talk to mini-me and figure out what she wants. I have a feeling she'll want a pint-sized version of the net/beret type of adult hat you posted...I have a bunch of those and she's forever trying to steal them. rolleyes.gif
