I wonder if someone could get confirmation as to what is really going on. My husband was outside a few minutes ago in our neighborhood down the road from Bentwater and he could see the helicopters are still obviously searching.......we deserve to know what is going on! In Feb. our basement started flooding from the foundation. Tiny cracks started to form. We found out after pulling up the wet carpeting. After MUCH work and replacing the carpeting and padding, repainting and putting in a sump pump, it started coming in again this afternoon! We were just about done redoing it and now it is happening all over again. Trenches were dug all around our house and pipes and drains were connected. I think this is the accident which I was talking about. I think he was coming home from Highlands college so he would have been going south bound in Emerson. Are there any pictures? I am wondering if he had enough wits about him to take pictures of the car before it was towed. Pretty amazing that he only had minor injuries like bruising and that NO other cars got involved. Especially since it was probably raining.

What is the officers name? and what did he say on facebook? Was he surprised that the driver was able to walk away from the accident? We know his guardian angel must have been working overtime on this one!

No transport. He walked into the emergency room in Paulding as he lives there. He is bruised up but that is it. I guess they figured he should be checked out since it was such a high impact accident.

We think everyone is miraculously okay. It was actually in Cobb on I-75. The tracker trailer clipped his back bumper and put him into a tail spin, the car is obviously totaled but thank God there was no one else in the car as the drivers seat is the only seat that is okay.

Ladies who are pregnant, I am pretty sure those with the complications have had long term medical issues/ with their health; asthma, autoimmune issue etc. The whole body temp. issue is a concern in the early months of development. The raised body temp. could cause problems for the developing child. If you are past the first trimester, I would not think getting a fever should be an issue. Of course ask your OBGYN just to make sure.

We got the letter sent home on Monday. It basically said everything that Obama said yesterday in his very quick news conference on the subject of the swine flu. I agree with MOM of 3. The letter suggesting emergency precautions is "scare tactics". Used to make everyone feel this is going to be worse than we might think. The houses are really beautiful. I've gone in some in Cobb that are comparable and are going in the 500's but they aren't selling either in fact Cooks Farm is now in Foreclosure. The house you are speaking of is the "mansion "$1.6million was under contract, it looked ridiculous so big and so close to the street, it shouls have been set back further in the woods it is overpowering so close to the street. You drive up there anymore, I wonder if the deal fell through?
