  1. So sorry for your loss! Your family will be in my prayers!

Did she ever teach school? I had a teacher at PCHS by the name of Houston, but I don't remember her first name. She was a sweetheart!

No, she didn't teach school, but she taught her daughters how to be wonderful women. :)

  2. This is my wonderful sister, who had survived cancer for 18 years and then it reared it's ugly head again 9 years ago as bone cancer. Please remember our family in your thoughts and prayers as we struggle to get through this very difficult time. She was loved by everyone who ever came in contact with her. Thank you.

  7. typical politicians, They are cutting our income tax rate but they say we will be paying more in income taxes because they are are doing away with deductions. I thought the tea party was for lower taxes?

You don't really think Ms. Braddock is a tea party supporter, do you? It was an act to fool all us poor dumb old Paulding County rednecks into voting for her....

  8. I have a confession to make: I saw a sign on Bethel Church Road during the primaries and it was the guy I was supporting, and the sign was in front of sort of a pasture. I stopped, pulled up the sign and put it in my yard. Oh well, I guess I'll have to answer for that one.

  9. According to the title I am supposed to be embarrassed because out of the 100K+ residents of the county someone maybe done something unethical, immoral or illegal. Why should it embarrass me?

Because it might make all of us in Dist. 19 look like a bunch of buffoons if she's elected and then goes on to do more stupid things???

I have learned two things that will disarm someone who's attacking you: 1) say "I forgot" and 2) say "I'm sorry". I haven't heard # 2 coming from anywhere regarding stupid things she did when she was younger. I'm sure that she is a very likeable person. She didn't come a-knockin' on my door asking for votes, so I'd still like to see the debate happen before the next 3 weeks. But since I already voted, I can't change my mind ---- but hubby can!!! (at the risk of a broken arm :D )

  10. If I were his mom, as soon as I saw him, I'd hug him, smooch him all over his face, then kick his butt!!! I am glad he's safe, but that poor mother. I worry so much about my grandchildren every day and I can't imagine what I'd be going through if one of them just 'disappeared' for a few days.
