  1. I'll second the emotion to avoid friends and family. I rented to a friend, and when they fell behind, I did what friends do. I listened to the sad stories and let them off the hook.

  2. I rented one to a friend once. He and his family trashed the place, fell behind rent for like 6 months, and then left without notifying me that they were leaving. Cost me a fortune to rehab the house. I'll never do it again.

  3. Should I aureate, or wait till Spring to do that. I noticed that it may be easier to aureate now because my lawn is soft, but it may not be a good idea.

    Now this is funny

Aureate: a writing style that is affected, pompous, and heavily ornamental, that uses rhetorical flourishes excessively, and that often employs interlarded foreign words and phrases.

  4. Oh I forgot. There are some decent trails over between Cheatham Hill and Callaway Road in Marietta. They're not as good as Sweetwater Creek, but they're good for walking/running. I go there after work sometimes.

  5. Sweetwater Creek State park is your best local bet. It's beautiful, scenic, and it has miles of trails for nearly any skill level. It doesn't look like Douglas County. It looks more like the mountains, and the creek has lots of whitewater. You can do a mile hike, or do ten miles, and some of the trails are easy, and some are steep and sort of technical. Wear a daypack, take a lunch, a camera, and several bottles of water.

If you want to get really adventurous, go to Mount Rogers in Virginia :)

  6. The pancake picture isn't funny because it makes her look more like Aunt Jemima. It's funny because of the way she's looking at the pancakes.

  7. Does legal aid help with a divorce? and Does the father not have to pay child support if we are not divorced We have a 8 yr old and he seems to have me over a barrel no money for divorce and he

gets out of taking care of his child. Does anyone know anything I can do? Im at the end of my rope

We get no help of any kind Im paying for her insurance He never helps with anything no christmas no school clothes nothing.

I think you can file your own divorce papers if it's uncontested. If it's uncontested, you can also pay an attorney less than $500 to get it done.

Sounds like yours will be contested. That'll cost a fortune. Maybe you could file abandonment papers. Probably not too expensive, and a way to make him pay his dues (and maybe force him into an uncontested divorce)
