I can not sleep tonight. Well my mother will be buried today at 4:00 p.m. our time and 1:00 p.m. west coast time. I am unable to be there due to the high cost in airfare prices but know that she has already gone on to be with the Lord. Please pray for me today as I know this will finally hit me when the time gets closer. My sister is sending me mothers wedding rings and a few other things but the initial shock has not really hit me yet. I could really use prayers today.....I am having a really rough day. My sister called about mom funeral arrangements. It will be Dec. 19th cuz my nephew is in the airforce and my mom's only sister is in California and they are making arrangements to get there. I guess I just am feeling overwhelmed today with everything that has gone on. Our daughters surgery, mom passing, the economy the way it is (bills, bills, bills) and I can't even take my bereavement time at work (3 days) until the 19th because they need proof of my moms passing. I have three large boxes that my mom had my sister send me in the past two months and I have not opened them yet. I haven't had time and I guess God will tell me when I should. My brother and sister have total power of attorney over everything and have since my dad passed. I told my sister the only thing I wished to have were mothers wedding rings dad gave her so I guess it will hit me when I get them. And I know that there were already boxes made up to be sent to all her grandkids and great grandkids that my sister said she will be mailing out. Mother knew and the Lord told me it was coming.

My mother passed away in Spokane, Washington at 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon (their time). She just went to sleep and the Lord reached down and took her quietly. The nurse did hold the phone to her ear for me to talk to her at about 10:30 a.m. that morning before I went to work. Four hours later she left this earth to be with my dad and others. I will not be able to go home for the funeral flying is so expensive and with times like they are we just can't do it, but I know my mother is here with me now and will be forever. Thank you so much....It is hard enough to loose a parent but when you can't be with them or go home it is even harder. Pray that God gives me peace and comfort as my dad passed two years ago but mother and I have always had a very special relationship I will miss talking to her terribly. The nurse held the phone by her ear yesterday so I could talk to her.....she can not hold the phone at all anymore.

We have had alot going on and not been able to get on here. We do apologize but our daughter had her surgery Tueesday and all went very well. But my mother lives in Washington state and her kidneys have failed and she is not responding to dialysis at all. She is a diabetic and has a number of other health issues. She is critical and I have been told her health is deteriorating (sp). I had to find this out from one of the nurses as my sister and brother have not been honest with me. Please pray God gives her comfort and peace and rest. I will not be able to go home due to the amount it co

Please pray for our daughter again........She is going to have to have more surgery on the 29th of this month for another ovarian cyst. She is only 16 and this has been very rough on her. She had surgery in May of this year for the same thing. This one is just as large as the last one and she is very scared this time. We know that God has control but the doctor does not know if they will have to remove some of her ovary at the same time. Please pray for her healing and for our family. My husband got a call from the grandpa yesterday afternoon and God definately was in control. The surgery went well...the put a tube from her tiny brain into her body and I am not sure of the particulars but they began administering protein into her tiny body and a miracle began to happen. Her tiny kidneys have begun to work again. She is doing as well as can be expected but when I hear more I will keep everyone posted. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR PRAYERS.....GOD TRULY WORKED A MIRACLE YESTERDAY......

Thank you everyone so very much for your wonderful posts......The parents have three other children that are older also. This will be a truly long night for everyone. The doctors have said they give her a 30% chance of coming through the surgery because of her condition but we KNOW what GOD CAN DO!!!! Thank God that the doctors that are operating on her highly believe in prayer. Thank you everyone again.

We got some terrible news this evening that a very dear friend of ours their newborn daughter (who is only about a month old) is in Scottish Rite tonight in critical condition. She has gone into complete kidney failure and they are performing surgery on her tomorrow around noon to place a tube from her brain down her little body and to come out her stomach. They have said that even if she makes it through the surgery she can not have a kidney transplant until she reaches two. Please pray for this little angel and her parents and grandparents. We need the hand of God to touch this little one

MillCreek...........thank you for your wonderful post this morning. It was just what we needed. We were getting ready for church and once again illness has hit someone in our family. But we ARE truly blessed and will HOLD ON to that promise from God.

We apologize to our customers for not answering your posts on here for the last couple of weeks but Jeff has been at the shop to wait on customers and answer the phone. Our daughter had surgery back in April and is looking at surgery again. We have been in and out of the ER and also the specialists office for the last two weeks. I have not been able to get on here just long enough to bump up posts and go to work myself. Thank you for your patience and we would appreciate any prayers for our daughter and her health and recovery. Thank you again.
