I joined Scouting 35 years ago. I have wrestled with what to do: stay and serve in my troop or resign. Then I came across a quote I recent;y collected off a church bulletin board. It goes like this-"Those who follow the crowd are soon lost in it" I am proud to be an Eagle Scout, but I cannot follow this crowd. I know what I believe and why I believe it. No one thinks for me. I am resigning on Monday. I have loved Scouting with all my heart, but the Gay agenda finally toppled this fine group. God help the poor boys that will be molested and no one will give a damn.

I have been a scout since 1978. For those of you that are math challenged that it is thirty-five (35) years. I have been proud to say I am an Eagle Scout. This vote made me take a serious look at myself andconsider who I am and what I believe. I wrestled with both staying with my current troop and resigning. I'm no longer wrestling. I came across a quote I recently collected off a church bulletin board . It goes like this - "Those who follow the crowd are soon lost in it." I will not follow this crowd. I am my own man and I do not support this! I am still proud to be an Eagle Scout, but n

Yes, here is another Scout. Disillusioned as I may be about the politically correct Scouting movement that is proposed. I may not be a Scout much longer if the 23 May vote goes the way of the brainwashed American "sheeple" masses. Too many "sheeples"; not enough shepherds.

I've been a long time visitor on P.com, but not much of a poster, but after reading several of these EBT threads, I really feel like I need to reply. My family has been on foodstamps for going on two years now, due to the recession. My husband is a special ed teacher, laid off in 2009 due to budget cuts. He is currently in a Masters program at Liberty University. We both come from middle to upper class families. We are active in church, and are very involved with our three kids (2 in college, 1 HS senior). I say all this to let all the judgers out there know that if there was any way for us t

Has anyone seen a business that is hiring? I am a teacher whose position was eliminated in 2009 and haven't found any work since. I'm always too old, over qualified, etc. I'd appreciate any leads that are out there.

Does anyone have a printer/scanner that you are not using and would be willing to donate to a pastor in Mexico? I am part of a team that is leaving 03 June for Matamoros, Coahuila (Mexico), Queretaro, Mexico, and Mexico City. The pastor, Loyd Miguel has asked us to bring him a printer. I went to every Wal-Mart, Sam's, OfficeMax, and Staples in Acworth and Hiram and none of them were willing to help us to help him. A printer will allow him to be be more effective in his work. If you want to think you can help, or know someone that may be able to, please respond.

I am a laid off Paulding County teacher. I have searched to theends of the eart for another teaching job, but without success. I have been approached by a company called "Primerica" to work forthem. I understand it is a financial group, etc. What I really want to know if different peoples opinions on, them, about them, experiences with them (good or bad). I want to get back into teaching, but may have to wait till next school year to do so. In the meantime, I have to have a job. Thank you in advance for your input.
