  1. What is the vendor fee? Do you have a Premier Designs jewelry vendor yet?
  2. Granted my son is only 9, when his buddies come out with us, I always ask them before we ordered what they are considering in ordering. I do it in a "curious, what are y'all having" as I may want something similar fashion. If they say something from the adult menu, I tell them that I can't afford that option and to try to pick something under x amount. You are the adult in the situation. Don't be afraid to step up and say something to the other child. If they don't like it, then they don't have to come next time, or they can sit and pout about it during dinner.
  3. The little coffee shop that is there now is wonderful! She makes delicious cupcakes and great coffee! She also has a small lunch menu, and the prices are reasonable. I had her make cupcakes for my son's bday party, and she did a fantastic job!
  4. Spencer made a comment about Andy's choices.

  6. Just heard a report on The Five on Fox News that Katelynn passed away this morning.
  7. Mods, please close topic due to the negativity that has started and the sarcastic comments being made by the ones that always stir up conflict. Thanks everyone for your POSITIVE comments, advice, and well wishes for our furbaby!
  8. Kitty is doing much better. We found out that he had gotten into a bowl of milk (a big bowl) and it tore up his tummy! We gave him some watered down yogurt, and he is back to his perky little self. Yay! Thanks for all of your comments (minus the one sarcastic comment)!
  9. Our cat has severe diarhea all of the sudden. He's been fine all morning, but after eating a can of food, he now has diarhea. There is a small amount of blood in the stool. Vets are closed, called ER vet and of course the first thing they say is bring him in. Money is tight, it's not gonna happen. what can we do to help him until we can get him to the vet first thing Monday morning?
  10. Many prayers to Jenny and Matthew and the family.
  11. My mom fixes a big pot roast with taters, carrots, and onions. Then, we also have greens, black-eyed-peas, fried okra, deviled eggs, cornbread, Mac n cheese, and desserts!
  12. I didn't say it was his personal health nurse. I'm referring to one of the nurses in his pediatrician's office that loved him like a family member. She shared the info with me that he had passed. I was simply stating that I knew for a fact that he had passed away. I'm trying to keep my peeps safe too. I wouldn't intentionally talk to his personal health care nurse, as I have no clue who that even would be. J/S
  13. I'm not talking about his personal health nurse! I'm talking about his nurse who worked for him at his pediatrician office. She works at the ped's office. We took our son there because she worked there and fell in love with Dr. Gene. He will be missed. I believe the arrangements are: Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Memorial Gardens 8640 Rose Ave Douglasville Tribute and Message from family on Friday, Dec. 28th at 6:00pm in the Rosehaven Chapel.
  14. Yes, Dr. Gene passed away yesterday from health problems. I'm still waiting to hear back about the arrangements. I know it is fact because my info is coming directly from his nurse, who is my cousin.
  15. My thoughts and prayers go out to Murray, Scott, Kellie, and the entire Ragsdale family.
  16. We had a huge crockpot full of homemade veggie beef soup with Parmesan bread chips and homemade banana walnut muffins for dessert!
  17. We are also watching it!!! I think he's jumping at 110,000ft??? I am curious if he will survive, especially through the sound barrier. Seems like it would knock him out? We shall see! Not much longer!
  18. Filets, baked taters, green beans, garlic bread, and cheesecake for dessert!
  19. We LOVE Phat Phils! The food is wonderful, and Phil always comes out from the kitchen to speak with patrons and to check on their satisfaction himself. My hubby always gets the specials, and I always get the smothered chicken. Another poster said that he makes everything from scratch. Yes he does. If you like dressings, you must try his homemade ranch and honey mustard! Mmmmm!!!
  20. Oh, my heart breaks for this family. Prayers are being said for their comfort.
  21. Hey, I sent you a message on FB. Can you check it?
  22. I'm sure they could use spiral notebooks, pencils, packs of paper, scissors, glue, crayons, folders, Kleenex, etc. Just the basics. Of course, I am sure they will be grateful for any kind of donation! It's going to be hard for some of them to put things back together.
