Legislative Update Week of April 19 - 23, 2010 Regional TSPLOST Legislation Passes - Finally After three years of tireless effort, the Regional TSPLOST legislation finally passed the Georgia General Assembly on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 8:20 p.m. In a bi-partisan effort, the House passed the conference committee bill, HB 277, on a 141-29 vote. Minutes later, the Senate followed suit with a 43-8 vote. Some legislators took the well to speak against the bill, only to vote for it when the vote was taken.
