  1. There was an elderly lady missing, she has dementia or Alz. she has been found. she went missing last year also. she wonders off, and does not remeber how to get back home.....

  4. update from daughter last night: They removed the ventilator yesterday. She has remained stable, but as to be expected is very weak. We also got news Tuesday evening that she has C Diff, so she is fighting that as well. She isn't talking much, but is responding to simple questions. We are still taking things day by day and one step at a time. We have made the decision to turn off her personal cell phone so my dad can get some much needed rest.   8. we have been getting squash, picked our first cucumber yesterday vines loaded, watermelons bloomed, okra (okrie) is growing good, corn is getting tall, we have pepper, green tomatos as big as a soft ball, none ripe yet. potatoes growing nice and green.strawberries bloomed, so what do you have planted and how is it growing?

Thank Goodness it rained, we needed a break from watering our garden, and flowers... it came a good steady rain for an hour, and it is so nice and cool now.... not as humid as it was.... and we have a good breeze blowing through the windows... yes I have my windows raised... no ac turned on.... trying to hold out on running the ac for a little longer...

  11. Things are not made the way they use to be, they are made cheap, and just thrown together, also things last longer if the yare taken care of. oil changed, tune ups, ect....

  15. up date 30 mins ago from her son: Update on Momma: They've turned off all breathing assistance and stopped all sedation. This is a very telling and delicate time that could lead to the removal of her ventilator if all goes well and allow us to evaluate her mental status. That's the direction we are hoping for!!!!!! Please Send out the best mojo you can gather for my dear southern and sassy mother for the next few hours!
  16. update on from Karen's son yesterday: Update on Momma Karen: Today is a NEW day!!! She finished her second round of Dialysis yesterday and her labs are stable. They let her breath on her own for around an hour this morning however, her numbers weren't where they wanted them to be. They changed her sedation medication to one that is easier to wake up from because she has to be alert enough take deep breaths for the removal the ventilator. If she can rest today and remain where she is at we will try again tomorrow and will hopefully be able to evaluate her mental status and oxygen levels.

A baby in new jersey was born with the zika virus... the mother is from al salvador and I heard on the news the other day, a woman had contracted zika virus from having sex with her partner that had traveled out of US. I am looking for the link to put here... this was on the news this evening.

The call went in as a sucide call, but it was a domestic issue. once the woman was safe out of the house, is when the real issues started. the subdivison is located on hwy 92, crossroads area behind kroger, some parts of that neighborhood are considered cobb. so there fore that is why it was paulding and cobb.
  20. BeachBum, I do not know of anyone who has had that type of surgery, luckliy I have never had allergies, or sinus problems.. it is probaly all of that nice clean ocean air you have breathing lol Good luck with your surgery, and if i can help in anyway please let me know.
  21. I followed this all day on fb yesterday... so sad... but paulding and cobb officers did thier best. we have a friend who lives in the subdivison (wesley Heights)
  22. Please Keep Sports Source in your thoughts, she is in the hoisptal not doing to good.... here is an update from her daughter a few minutes ago. She is still on the ventilator. They did dialysis Saturday afternoon and her levels did improve. Her white blood count went down and the doctors assured us everything was looking as good as possible. Her white blood count has gone down more today. They will do dialysis again today. The kidney Doctor has basically confirmed that the transplanted kidney is no longer functioning. She was removed from the ventilator and was able to breathe on
