A bunch of us are thinking about getting a team up for the Adult Rec Softball league at Mt. Tabor Park this spring. Does anyone know exactly how much it costs per player. I've heard just about every number under the sun and none of them have been the same. So far the best and most trust worthy answer I've gotten is $30/player for the season. If anyone has any other information they could pass along to me I'm willing to accept and read and listen. Can't ever get in touch with anyone at the park. So the next best thing is ask all you p.comers.

Also best of luck to the other wrestlers within the County who qualified for the state tournament. Its looking like Region 5-AAAA may take them all. A blackout sounds great, I'll be wearing my black Friday night. Just make sure you all bring your loud voices Friday, because last week against Douglas County the stands sounded somewhat pitiful. I keep waiting for the day when everyone in the stands starts yelling all at once. If we did this, we would deafen the opposing teams. So be ready for this Friday night :yahoo: :yahoo:

Raidersrock, you ought to go to battle of the bands in the Georgia Dome. There is the Honda Battle of the Bands coming up in January, it will be between the Historically Black Colleges. Its pretty entertaining, and I think you would love it.

Yes, show bands are awesome. Raidersrock if you liked Osbornes band then you need to go see Southwest Dekalbs band, they rock the house all night long. Battle of the bands in the Georgia dome is always a fun event to go to if you like the show band types. I love them, yes the Raider brigade is outstanding, but I do prefer the more up beat type of music. Osbornes band was at it all night long, I believe a few years back we played Mays High School in the playoffs and their band was awesome too. I think it would be pretty cool to have the Raider Brigade play some of the music those bands play, I

LOL, Sorry you all. But you won't catch me out there rocking a Cheerleading outfit or shaking around Pom Poms. Thelecroygang, thanks for the comments, I just like coming to the games and helping our boys out. Noise from the stands can go a long way with helping the boys out on that field on Friday nights. I'm just glad that most of you in the stands join me in helping do that. Some folks think I might go a bit overboard but I don't. Ok here we go, I think I have this thing worked out. Since South beat Chapel hill last night. There is actually a three way tie for 2nd place in that sub region. So the rules state you must go to head to head to break all tie breakers. Well after you look at head to head victories they teams are still tied because Villa Rica beat Douglas County, but lost to Chapel Hill. Douglas County Lost to Villa Rica but beat Chapel hill. Chapel Hill beat Villa Rica but lost to Douglas County. So after that you take their over all record. That leaves us with Villa Rica at 6-3, Douglas County 5-4, and Chapel

Yes the Videos are great. I wish EP had a big video screen so they could show a video before the game started to the fans. Something like Thomas County Central has. We need to get the guys in the press box to put that song into the pregame music they play, I like the one that has Sean Payton and all the other coaches giving their pre-game speeches. Really fires me up.
