  1. You hit the nail on the head. Anything above a $1.00 per gallon is ridiculous but they take it up to over $3 and then drop it down fifty cents and the public gets excited and thinks, what a bargain. When I moved to Georgia in 2002, unleaded was $.87 a gallon.
  2. My opinion is that most all the Mexican food establishments in the county and in the metro area for that matter all taste the same and seem to be prepared by the same chef. I, myself, prefer Tex-Mex and me and the kids head to On The Border in Kennesaw to get our fix. Would love to see one of those in Hiram.
  3. I seriously doubt that Paulding County is in the minority here when it came to not lowering their flags for the West Virginia senator. I would be willing to bet there are several local and county governments that did not lower them.............and that would probably be the case, nation wide. I couldn't see more than maybe a handful in my native Texas that would lower their flags for another state's senator and wouldn't expect it to be done by other states for a Texas senator.
  4. I live in this area and have no complaints. It seems to be halfway between Hiram and Douglasville so there are plenty of choices.
  5. I must have missed that place. We ate at a Pizza place in the same mall.
  6. Oh, I forgot about that one. Bobby McFarrin. That was a really cheezy song.
  7. Sorry, I like the majority of artists out there but Jim Morrison and that awful organ that The Doors constantly used sounded to me like nails on a chalkboard. I've definitely got no problem with Stevie Nicks nor the greatness that is Jimmie Hendrix.
  8. My radio would never be on a station that played Celine Dion. I change the station when The Doors are on.
