    Does anyone have any ideas on a wedding venue close

    There are several venues close by for outside weddings. Of course all of the historic homes that are listed here, but we did a wedding in Cave Spring at the Hearn Academy and it was gorgeous. The square in Marietta allows weddings, this is a great place as well, you can rent one of the local churches for a reception if you wanted. The Whitlock Inn is beautiful for either a reception and/or wedding.

    Ok, has anyone else had sinus surgery?

    I had sinus surgery back in 96 and it was the worst experience of my life. I ended up hemmoraging and had to go the ER, it was horrible. I was good for about a year with no problems, but after a year, I had problems just as if I had never had the surgery. I wouldn't recommend it..... Good luck though.

    AFLAC is wonderful. I have the Short Term Disability and Accident policy. We filed a claim on my daugter after an auto accident and they paid just because she went to the ER. I file my wellness visit each year and get either 60 or 65 dollars back.

    How did you plan your wedding/and did it turn out the way you wanted?

    I planned my wedding with my mother's help. Mom and Dad paid for everything as I was the baby girl! My colors were black and white with pink roses. We sent out about 500 invitations and about 350 people showed for the wedding.. I remember it all even though it was 17 years ago. My dad walked me down the aisle, my brother sang right after that, then I sang to my hubby at the unity candle.. It was in the middle of June so it was HOT!!! We went through 25 gallons of punch and about 20 gallons of sweet tea, then we starting serving water. I remember that my flowers were so heavy and my husband needed to go to the potty during the ceremony, but had to wait so long to do so! I bought all of my bridesmaides dresses for $6.99 at the old JC Penney outlet store, and we paid for the rental of the groomsmens tuxes, so our wedding party didn't have to pay for anything, which I thought was pretty cool. My wedding was long, but went off with out a hitch!
