Son has gone once this year. We certainly can't afford to go too often -- it better be a REAL emergency. I get so ticked at people who use ER as their primary care physician! (Not saying anyone here is. Just in general. When we lived in Gwinnett... yeesh.)
between myself and 2 kids (22 & 24) 4 times in our total lives (bleeding, concusion, broken bones)....you gotta be bad around here to need an ER, especially with all the urgent clinics around now.... even with insurance I think it needs to be an emergency to seek treatment there...

congradulations!!!! ... twice the adventure....double the fun.....

I think of it as normal....but I get out of the bed and first thing is to get cookies, candy, debbie cakes...." Sweet Stuff" before I am even awake......

Some of the very best in the medical field I ever had the privilage to work with were from various branches of our military....

Around here you have to watch out for the Brown Recluse spider. Its a little sucker but it can sure make you feel like he11. They like to hang out in dark areas. watch out if you are going through a stack of wood stacked outside or turning over old mulch.
had a recluse bite in march, digging up and moving some flowers ....3 injections, 2 diffferent antibotics, 3 others rx's.....nasty bite and I only waited about 24 hours....I wouldn't take any chances can be extensive treatment if you let whatever it is get out of hand.....

when my kids were small they listened to "my" music. they can raddle oldies off with the best....and much to my delight they enjoy some of my music now....CCR, James Taylor, Paul Simon,Jackson Brown even big band, Aretha Franklin, The Staple Singers( goes back to real oldies like the Drifters, ...I am surprised at what's on the Ipod's ....but I thought it was important to share the range of good music when they were younger....so they know who Etta James, Dean Martin, Elvis....they like ELO, the Beatles, and in turn they shared Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Norah Jones....didn't want them to think what they were hearing on the radio was all there was too music...I have a HUGE album collection that goes back to 40's....lots through 60's and seventies...albums, 45's and even 78's

Elvis = band camp. Toccoa, GA.
9/11 = at intersection of Hwy 92 & Marietta Hwy.
But I'm not so sure about Elvis. I saw Elvis in AL at a Stuckey's driving a 63 Chevy Impala back a few years ago. Looked good for his age, too.
I was in Toccoa, Ga (bandcamp/drillteam) also....was out shopping when 9-11 news came on....still have alot of orginal Elvis albums
-
sad part is most of these people are driving
