  1. I would make the time to tell her in a place where it is just you and her, do not rush through this, and be prepared to hang around awhile, she will have questions, and she may even ask you for proof..

I would want to know, and if my best friend knew and did not tell me, I would be hurt with her,..

Good luck and choose your words wisley...

Before I tell her anything, I'm going to make sure I have proof. I know she will want to see it.

She is just so trusting. naive and gullable..

He acts like she is just everything to him when he is with her. It just kills me.

  2. LR sounds like you have had to do this before..... LR always has good advice.

You said he goes downtown on Wednesday nights, guess they will have to find a new place as I think that Place is now closed if you are talking about the place I am thinking of.

It is closed.. just found that out tonight.

It is closed.. just found that out tonight.

Bad news: "Your husband is cheating on you." Goodnews: "You can still save money by switching to Geico."

    Sorry. Had to do it.

She would save the money.. lol

  3. Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I so want to be there. You have gotta bring her there. If you don't mind, I'll hold the camera.

It would not be pretty.. bless her heart.

She would not come, she would stay home and cook him supper. for him not to show up til midnight saying he was working late.

  4. Why not take your friend with you, where SHE can SEE with her own eyes!! Then you won't have to tell her anything!! :nea:

That would be too scary.. No telling what she might do..

That would be too scary.. No telling what she might do..

But that is a thought, he needs a good butt whoopin.

  5. Can you keep a camera with you and take some pictures whenever you see him with the other girl?Maybe different days, different clothes, etc.Maybe get other friends to take pics too?

You will most likely lose her as a friend if you do tell her. Are you ready for that? I told my sister a few times when her husband was screwing up and she always got mad at ME and treated me like a dog and like I was lying.I quit telling her what he was doing and let her find out years later another way in order to keep a relationship with my sister.

If you have pictures, you might can mail them to her without putting your name with the pics and she won't know who to get mad at, but she will see the proof in the pics.

Yep, he goes t a popular place in downtown dallas on wednesday nights for karoke. Guess what I'm going to.. haha.with my camera..

Unless what you mean by when you wrote you "saw it with your own two eyes" Means you saw them having sex..I would mind my own business.....

What is with all of the cheating THREADS lately...I even saw one in the Battles today :o

Well not having sex, but all over each other.. I think that would be enough for me..

  6. I would confront her mate and make it clear that if he didn't come clean, that you would tell her on your own. Tell him you have seen him with your own eyes and either he can tell her or you will. I just hope if you do choose to spill the beans, that she will believe you and not the lying, cheating mate. Unfortunately, friendships are often lost because of that very thing. "I'm not cheatin' baby, she's just jealous of you and what we have" blah, blah, blah. Maaan, I don't envy you...Good luck!

Yep. that would be his exact words!!!

And yes I want to confront him sooooo soooo bad!! and the chic he is with, because she knows as well.

My friend called his phone the other day and she answered the phone!!! when my friend asked who it was, he said oh that was so and so's wife.. and she believed him.. he is such a POS!!!

I agree. You can stress to her how having this knowledge (with your own 2 eyes) has made you feel.. I wish you luck.. This is truly a sticky situation, but I would want my bestfriend to tell me & I would do the same..

    :)

    Thank you.

  7. Tell her! Just do it somewhere not in public bc she will cry. All you can do is be there for her and support her. Let her know how deeply sorry you are for her having to go through this. I would be very mad if my best friend did not tell me. They would not be my best friend any more

She is already depressed. I'm afraid this will send her over the edge.but I will be there to help her pick up the pieces.

  8. Would you want her to tell you if the situation was reversed?

I know some say mind your own business, but not a best friend. I had a close friend keep something like this from me many, many years ago. I was more hurt that she knew and didn't tell me than I was that my ex was cheating on me.

I know, but what if she doesn't believe me? that is what is so bothersome.. I guess damned if you do and damned if you don't.

I'm going to tell her, I just have to find the way and the words..

  9. I need some advice?

What would yall do if you knew your best friends mate was cheating on her? I know for sure I have seen it with my own 2 eyes. I just don't know how to tell her, she is so sweet and caring and does not deserve this. so it is pulling on my heart strings. I do not want her to be mad at me. so any heart felt advice would greatly be appreciated..

  10. I have real oak hardwood floors in my kitchen and dining room and laminate floors in my living room and hallway. The laminate floor has been down about 6 months, installed by the carpet store I bought it from. I paid almost $2,000 for this floor- it is sliding apart and separating in at least 10 spots through out the room. It looks horrible and it is also not even in several spots. I had them come look at it and they say its from water damange???? I have a 100 pound lab and a 10 month old child, of course it has gotten some water spots, formula spills and dog drool- however its always wiped up. I guess my question is- what can I use to clean this floor??? I had been using a Swiffer Wet jet and they told me "NO" that this was terrible for my floor- any ideas?

My laminate floor is bulking up!! I don't know what to do other than call and see if they will replace it.. it has a 25 year warrenty.

  11. As much as I love my explorer - it has an issue. Now, let me give you some parameters first.

    1. This vehicle was bought on the 10-15 year plan. Getting rid of it is not my first, second, or third option.

    2. I love this vehicle.

    3. I have two shops that I throughly trust, personally know the technicians, and trust their advice and opinions.

    4. This truck has 165k miles on it. Yes, I drive ALOT.

    5. All recommended maintenance, flushes, etc. has been done on this truck (transmission and otherwise).

    So, here's my diliemma.

My 2003 4x4 Explorer needs transmission work. The torque converter and the solenoid are bad. It's sending out a code and flashing the o/d light on the dashboard. When driving it, the shifting is the same that it's always been. The flashing light is off when I start the truck, but it starts flashing when it needs to down shift at highway speeds - like when you're going up a hill.

A friend, senior master Ford tech, has looked at it, pulled the codes, and had his transmission guy look at it. I have discussed his diagnosis and solution with my other tech - he concurs based upon the assumption that the codes were correct.

    So, my options are:

    1. replace the torque converter and solenoid only - this requires pulling the transmission and opening the case to change out the torque converter (I don't have a price for just this work)

    2. replace the torque converter and solienoid AND do an overhaul of the transmission - this is the transmission guy's recommendation because he feels that it probably should have been overhauled already given Ford's transmission history (My thought - why isn't this in the maintenance schedule then?) ($1300-$1600) (warranty - 12 months/12k miles)

    3. put a remanned transmission in it done through Ford - my friend can do this job - 3 year/100k warranty - part is probably $1900-$2200 - unknown on labor at this time - this job is a little more difficult because my truck is a 4x4.

    4. drive it until the tranmission dies - then put a reman in it - probably shouldn't take it out on the freeway.

    5. Since hubby's 95 Tahoe has 190k miles on it - do option 1 and buy him a new truck to be our travel vehicle (all of hubby's family is 8 hours away; most of my family (except parents) are 6 hours away).

So - advice please. And, no, I don't care that you don't like fords, that ford stands for found on road dead (or first on race day). This truck is paid for and has given me very, very little other trouble outside of maintenance items.

Me, I would drive it till it wouldn't go anymore and then put a reman in.you might still have a couple more thousand miles on it..
