    OMG I signed up for one of those for my 14 year old daughter but never received it. I checked into it and I didn't reply to an email confirmation that I received. So be sure you confirm it. I'm going to apply for another one I guess. I thought it would be a great way for her to manage money also- since she is constantly begging me for it. I'm giving her so much a week and when it's gone, it's gone!! Have you got yours yet? Where did you get yours, online? Or somewhere else?? Just curious if I could go somewhere in person to get one.

    why is that so "shocking" ?? The whole world is going to hell. Just look at how everybody acts toward each other. Everybody is out for themselves and themselves only!! Aren't we supposed to "Love One Another?"

    YEAH!! That's what I need to do!! I'm just too nice I guess. And all these other mothers that call in sick get to do whatever they want. Then the ones that try to be honest and do what's right get crapped on. It's ridiculous!

    Now I know why everybody else just calls in sick when they have something to do. I've been keeping up with everybody's days they call in, etc. You wouldn't believe it!!! And I want to take 1/2 day off and he freaks!!

    I'm telling, I'm telling!  I know the real reason now...I'm gonna tell the "foreman" ;)  :lol:  :lol:  What you don't know, is HE reads this now and actually has a log on name :o  If it would help, me and the kids will fill in for ya!  Actually, tell him there is something bad in the shop water and you think there may be another set of twins on the way...have to go find out :lol:  :lol:  B)  :wub:

     

     

     

    I really don't care if he reads this or not. It is nobody's business what I take my PERSONAL vacation days for. What's really weird is he is taking a whole week off in July!! I just don't get it. I didn't know it was going to be such a big deal everytime I wanted to take a day off. I guess I should just take a whole week. We used to go to Florida every year for a whole week and I haven't done that since I first started working here.

    I ought to tell him I found a substitute for Wednesday afternoon and tell him you and the twins and the other two are coming. He would freak out then!!!!

    That's exactly how he acts. I guess he thinks I don't have a life at all!!

     

    And then when I keep on about it, he asked what it is I've got to do. Well that is none of his business. I want to go to Sun Valley Beach with my kids, but I would never tell him that!! It's my off day- so it shouldn't matter.

    OK my job is so wonderful in every way. I really do like it. I've been here 2 1/2 years. I'm the only person in the office. Right now I get 1 week vacation and 5 sick days

     

    BUT:

     

    everytime I want to take a day off, my boss absolutely freaks out and says "yeah right"

     

    Well I know I need to give him some notice and all but something has come up this Wednesday that I want to do and I asked if I could take 1/2 a day off. And of course he freaked. And said yeah right!

     

    So my question is : What would you do?? Would you take off anyway? Call in sick?? What??

     

    It's ridiculous that I can't take my vacation days when I want. So I want some input...
