  2. Well, it looks like I will not have any company tonight. There is always tomorrow.

Good night Paulding County....if you are out there Travis and need a break from everyday life, you are invited to come over. You can park your bike or car in the garage where no one will see it.

Do you even play Guitar Hero? It is nothing like the real thing......

  3. Well the phone rang and I gotta admit, I was excited..........No Travis yet.......the weekend is not over yet.......

  4. You can come play guitar hero with me.......Thought I would offer. I am off all weekend.........

This does get me thinking though, do you suppose the artists who created the songs on Guitar Hero ever play them?

Anyway, let me know. I am not even sure if you are in town right now.

My idea of a fancy restaurant is Olive Garden or Texas Roadhouse

Yeah those peanut shells are fun to walk on in dress shoes.

I am sorry if you do not like the restaurants I consider nice. Probably should not have used the word "fancy", but these 3 establishments have always provided good service, and yes in a way I would consider them fancy. We went to Olive Garden and Cracker Barrell to celebrate birthdays this year. Had a good time, and will go again.

    Why do i bother.....................db

  6. Here are some questions for you.

If I go out to eat at a fancy restaurant like Cracker Barrell and order $30 in food for 4 and leave a tip between $5-$7 would you be happy?

Am I supposed to tip at Stevie B's?

If my kid spills a drink or leaves crumbs, should I leave more? Do the busboys get a portion of your tips for cleaning up after customers? If they do, would they get a portion of your total night, or a portion of the larger tip I left cause we had a spill?

If I spend $5 on Waffle House, how much should I leave?

Here is my secret to a successful tip from me ($10):

Make sure you bring me coffee and don't offer to fill it when I have not had any yet, wait until I am almost done before offering.

Do not ask me if everything is "OK" when I have a mouthful of food and walk off.

If the restaurant is crowded and you did a lousy job because you had too many tables to cover, I will give you more $$ as a sympathy tip. Just remember to keep my coffee fresh.

My idea of a fancy restaurant is Olive Garden or Texas Roadhouse (which I love !!) I do not mind tipping more there because they have their act together.

  7. I have been slowly working on our basement for over a year. I have done the insulation, drywall and electrical already.

Now I get to lay my flooring over the weekend. I will be putting padded floor insulation (vapor barrier) on the cement floor.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

What are some of the things I should look for or lessons you learned? Things you would have done differently, that sort of thing. I would hate to think that I get it all down and made a major mistake.

The room is 16'x28'. I did buy some extra flooring for mistakes, shortages, etc. I do need to buy the small pieces that you put at the end to keep it from hugging the wall allowing it to expand when it is together.

  8. I would rather have my kids out in the cold vs. the alternative of blowing up !!!!

Give me a break, nothing makes you people happy.....

Good job Nebo, I commend you on removing our kids from a potential cotastrophe......

    (let the blasting resume)

  9. This has been a good read, thanks for posting about it.

There are miniature horses in Beulah near us. That is one of the reasons we chose to live here. It is nice seeing them out everyday when we drive by.
