Today has been 2 years since my father, Dr. Jerry L. Worthy, passed away of cancer. It gets easier everyday, but I will always think of my father on a daily basis. I just want to thank you all for your support during that sad time 2 years ago and the prayers that were sent our way.

My Daddy M.D.

Whenever Daddy signs his name

He always writes M.D.

So that people will all know

That he belongs to me

For M.D. means "My Daddy"

Or something just the same

And that is why he always puts

These letters in his name.

Some letters in his name are small

But these are not, you see,

He always makes them big like that

Because he's so proud of me.

Shirley and Robert were always very close family friends. They practically helped raise us.

My mother is Juanita, Shirley's niece. Her daddy is Albert White, Robert's brother. My grandmother on the other side worked for your brother for years...her name is Billie Jo Working.

Are you Karen?

I remember Dr. Worthy when he first came to Dallas.

Fine man.

I miss both him and Dr. Braly.

No, Karen is my older sister. There are 9 of us. Karen, Gail, Susan, Necie, Stacey, Jerry Lynn, Greg, LOVEMUPPET, AND NIKKI13. :D

Your father was one of the most considerate and kind hearted friend I have ever known. He always had a smile and a positive attitude even on his trying days. I went with him to Cobb Hospital along with your brother for treatment . You would never had known he was the patient that day, he showed more compation and gave strength to others there faced with the same affliction. I feel for your heartache as he was such a special man. I think of him often and miss him dearly.
