0 gpatt0n
Parks, apparently where there are also playgrounds for the kids, are closed because the playground equipment, picnic tables and pavilions are or could have been reserved and rented before the covid outbreak even for events happening next week or the week after. To break those contracts the parks, pavilions etc. had to close when the emergency orders were given. This act of closing parks is further official effort to dissuade folks from congregating, Trails, which typically don't have pavilions and picnic tables, usually don't have fences along them and so have open access like public roads. Law enforcement is as aware of the issues with covid-19 as are we all. They are going to observe social distancing with those who are showing that kind of behavior on trails or walking on sidewalks or just down the shoulder of a road. OTOH, if you're hosting a rave for 50 friends - even in the country - then LEO may intervene and break up the party. But you can probably avoid arrest not because such an epic display of stupidity isn't worth documenting but because no one in LEO wants to throw dozens of IMMENSELY STUPID PEOPLE (who are probably infected they're so ====> STUPID <===== ) into the confines of a jail in the middle of a pandemic.
