When Sunday evening the day before school starts back one starts to run a fever. Anybody else have a child with fever and vomiting?
michelay1000
Oh one of mine had vomiting the week before vacation. He went to school Monday and threw up. Sent him back Wednesday and he threw up, so he stayed out the rest of the week.
mhparker92
There were some nasty bugs going around right before they got out of school. Mine was puny all weekend and most of the week. Reason # 134 that I'm glad we get breaks - let's the schools get de-germed.

lowrider
My grandson had strep about 3 weeks ago. I hear there is a violent stomach virus going around. I'm cursing it so it doesn't enter my house! LOL I can't handle a stomach virus.
Blondiega1
I'm just getting over pneumonia. Papi's been fighting it too. First time I've ever had pneumonia and it's a very scary feeling to not be able to catch your breath.

First time I've ever had pneumonia and it's a very scary feeling to not be able to catch your breath. It really is. I wound up going to the emergency room the day after Christmas and was diagnosed with pneumonia. I still don't feel 100% energy wise.

I still don't feel 100% energy wise. It's been almost 10 days since it first hit me and I'm just NOW starting to feel a little more like myself again. Still coughing. Doc said that will linger awhile.
rednekkhikkchikk
Yeah there is a really ugly upper respiratory thing that is extremely catchy going around, too. Working on my 2nd week of it, and my BIL was on his way to pneumonia after coming down with it. I haven't been this sick in a long long time.

lowrider
Hope I'm not relapsing. I've had a sore throat since yesterday evening and I'm terribly head achy. It could be the sinus thing. Mine started out with a sore throat, coughing and sneezing all day. Today I seem to be getting it under control. I started Sunday and sneezed for 3 days solid. And my ears won't pop open. It's ridiculous!!
rednekkhikkchikk
Hope I'm not relapsing. I've had a sore throat since yesterday evening and I'm terribly head achy. I sneezed all night last night, which is how it started to begin with and I haven't completely recovered yet from what I had last week. The thought of feeling that bad again is almost more than I can stand. Ugh. Lysol. And a lot of it... Hope you both feel better soon.
