Funeral Director Posted November 16, 2011 Report Share Posted November 16, 2011 Brandon Alexander “Alex” Steele, age 13 of Buchannan, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Scottish-Rite Children’s Medical Center. Alex was born at Cobb General in Austell, GA on June 4, 1998 to loving parents Mr. Randy Steele and Mrs. Esther Steele. He attended Haralson County Middle School. He loved to play X Box and 4 Wheeling. Alex is survived by his loving parents Mr. & Mrs. Randy (Esther) Steele of Buchanan, GA; two brothers Mr. & Mrs. Mike (Jennifer) Steele and Mr. Chuck Steele both of Dallas, GA; two sisters Mr. & Mrs. Tracy (Ashley) Benefield of Buchanan, GA and Ms. Krissy Roberts of Griffin, GA; nephews and nieces Judson & Sophie Steele of Dallas, GA, Avery Benefield of Buchanan, GA, and Victoria Jackson of North Carolina; grandmother Mrs. Leonor Esther Greathouse of Griffin, GA; many uncles, aunts, cousins and other beloved family and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Mr. Archie Greathouse who passed away in 2010, paternal grandparents Mr. Leroy Steele who passed away in 1984 and Mrs. Genva Steele who passed away in 1995. Funeral Services for Alex will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 2 pm with Reverend James Smith officiating. Serving as pall bearers will be Mike Steele, Chuck Steele, Wayne Steele, Ernest Steele, Hugh Steele, and Leroy Steele. Interment will follow at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Hiram, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 3 – 9pm and Friday, November 18, 2011 from 9 am until the service begins at 2 pm.
