Funeral Director Posted October 7, 2011 Report Share Posted October 7, 2011 (edited) Mr. Bobby Dean Deal age 54 of New Hope, GA passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. Mr. Bobby Dean Deal was born on June 2, 1957 in Dallas, GA; to loving parents the late Mr. Willie Howard Deal and Mrs. Eva Griffith Deal. Mr. Deal worked as a custodian for Dobbins Middle School with Paulding County School System. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed racing and old cars. Mr. Deal received an award for Outstanding Citizenship at Dobbins Middle School. He was a member of the Gen. William J. Hardee Camp 1397 of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Mr. Deal is survived by his wife of thirty-six years Mrs. Martha Lawler Deal of New Hope, GA. One daughter, Eva Rose Deal of New Hope, GA. Two brothers, Billy and Jean Deal of New Hope, Ga. and Dennis and Janice Deal of New Hope, Ga. One niece, Tammy Tomlinson of Hiram, GA. Two great nephews, Tyler Tomlinson, Cody Tomlinson and many other beloved family and friends. Funeral Services for Mr. Bobby Dean Deal will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 2 pm with Reverend Doy Willingham and Dr. Cartess Ross officiating. Music will be provided by Jimmy Henry and Jeff Eberhart. Serving as pall bearers will be Sons of Confederate Veterans, Gen. William J. Hardee Camp 1397. Honorary pall bearer will be Sonny Roberts. Interment will follow at New Hope Memory Garden Cemetery. The family of Mr. Bobby Dean Deal will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 2pm – 9 pm, Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 9am – 9pm and Monday, October 10, 2011 from 9am until the time of service.
