Clark Funeral Home Posted May 11, 2011 Report Share Posted May 11, 2011 (edited) Deputy David McIlwraith, age 44, of Dallas, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011. He was born August 31, 1966, in Americus, GA. Mr. McIlwraith worked as a Narcotics Agent for the GBI for years 20 years and was a Deputy with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department. Survivors include his wife, Wendy McIlwraith; mother, Judy McIlwraith of Americus, GA; daughters, Payton Beck of Dallas, GA and Gabby Beck of Dallas, GA; sister, Jill McIlwraith Turner of Americus, GA; uncle, Drew & Tammie McIlwraith of Americus, GA; cousins, Renee Halley of Macon, GA, Mitzi Halley Martin of Panama City Beach, FL, and Jeanine Warner of Macon, GA; niece, Jordan Manning of Marietta, GA; and mother-in-law, JoAnn Nelson of Marietta, GA. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2011, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor David Camp and Chaplain Wayne Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
