Funeral Director Posted February 25, 2010 Report Share Posted February 25, 2010 Mr. Kevin Dorsey Burns age 23 of Dallas Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Kevin was born on November 26, 1986 in Austell, Ga, the son of David Eugene Burns Sr. and Martha Rachel Williams Burns. His family are evangelists and he traveled with them ministering hope to the brokenhearted. Many have said that Kevin's smile could light up a room. He loved gospel music and looked forward to each and every opportunity to attend church. Kevin is survived by his loving parents Mr. & Mrs. David Sr. and Martha Burns, 2 brothers David Burns Jr.,and Chris Burns all of Dallas, Ga; as well as many other beloved family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Hugh (Ruth) Williams, and paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd (Lottie) Burns Funeral services for Kevin Dorsey Burns will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 2 PM. Officiating will be Kevin's Daddy, Reverend Jimmy Angline and Reverend Jimmy Carter. Pallbearers will include Jeff Barton, Daniel Cain, Josh Smith, Jeremy Fisher and Bill Ingram. Music will be provided by Kevin's Momma and Daddy and Dwayne Dover. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens. Mr. Kevin Dorsey Burns will remain at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 12 PM - 9 PM and Friday, February 26, 2010 from 9 AM until his service begins at 2 PM.
