I'm Floored
Our condolences are extended to the Nichols family. He was a wonderful man, full of fun and life. He had a tremendous musical talent, and touched many lives through his gift. He was also one of our oldest son's favorite substitute teachers! We will miss you, Gates! bluegrass
I haven't seen him in years, but he will be missed. He played the steel professionally, but when he and I played he always picked up the bass. I think that was his favorite. RIP Gates.

aimless
I only met him when he was already sick, but from the memories that his family and friends shared together I can see what a special person he was. His life will never be forgotten. He will be a blessed member of Heaven's band now and playing with the angels. Prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time. Let the happy memories get you through the cloudy days.
