Joe Bennett, age 80, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2009. He was born on April 10, 1929, in LaGrange, GA, and was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sherman and Beadie Mae Bennett. Mr. Bennett was a member of New Hope First Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include wife, Marian Bennett of Dallas; step-children, Keith Trout of Dallas, Dale & Alisa Trout of Dallas, and Fred & Denise Trout of Dallas; nine step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2009, at 3:00 p.m., from New Hope First Baptist Church, with Reverend Frank Crowe, Reverend Don Rackley, and Reverend Durwood Perry officiating. Bobby Hulsey, Ray Sheppard, Bill Clackum, Neal Gamblin, Randy Pullen and James Cole will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5 p.m. until

8 p.m. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe passing he was the sweetest man..I enjoyed my time with him while he was at Kimberly Assisted Living
