Romas Otto Wright, age 72, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2009. He was born, November 11, 1936 in Rockmart, to the late, Otis Otto Wright and the late, Estell Lemon Wright. Mr. Wright was retired as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Paulding County Fire Department. He was a member of Ridge Road Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Sanford Wright; sisters, Faye Willis of Charlotte, NC and Linda Willis of Douglasville, GA; uncle, Robert Claude Hurst of Marietta, GA.

Funeral services will be Sunday, July 26, 2009, at 2:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Dwayne Hewett and Reverend Andy Fennell officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Park Cemetery with the Paulding County Fire Department serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Romas was a very sweet man. I used to work at the Dallas Police Department and he would come in there pretty often when he worked at the fire station. He was always so sweet and wanting to know how my day was going. I am very sorry for his family's loss and y'all will be in my prayers.

For those of you that didn't get a chance to know Romas, you missed knowing a very special man. I can think of no one kinder or sweeter. Paulding county has lost one of the good guys with Romas' passing. Prayers for all who loved him, including me.

Romas was a VERY special person to each of us! and LOVED his Hayden! :( Please keep my grandmother in your Prayers she REALLY needs them!

 

 

Thanks to everyone that made it out Saturday and yesterday, Thanks for all the food from the chruch and all the beautiful flowers, also MANY MANY heartfelt Thanks to the Paulding County Sheriffs Office, Fire Dept and also all the other departments that were there to show respect. My grandmother might not have told you but it really did meant ALOT to her and out family! Thanks again and MAY GOD BLESS each of you!!!!
