+auntneet
Just a note - our next Look Good, Feel Better "mini spa" program takes place next Monday. This is a 2 hour program sponsored by the American Cancer Society for women dealing with the physical effects of chemo and radiation. We host it at the Suntrust Bank on 120 and Hwy 6 from 12-2. The program is free, but we need to know the attendance so we can provide enough free make-up bags. The program is run by a cosmetologist, and runs the gamut of skincare to headgear to wigs. We have a lot of laughs as well... If you or someone you know would like to come, please call our store tomorrow - 770-222-6678. We can squeeze in a couple of more - the class will be full. This program happens every month, so please let us know if you'd like to come a different month. And don't hesitate to call with any questions!

3683
As you know, with your work feeding the hungry, it's incredibly rewarding... Thank you for your always kind words- I dont want to have to walk in their shoes to have to have compassion on them. But when you have been there or are there it helps to relate and it gives you more of a drive to help them. And as you said very rewarding.

+auntneet
Thanks for what you do, none will never know when they could need you.... you are helping people and the commmuntiy. Thank you for your comment, but honestly we have a great time with this... going thru chemo/rad is such a departure from reality, it really helps to hang out with others trekking down the same road (plus getting an incredible makeup bag). On another note - this program is "nationwide". So if you know of someone who might benefit from it, and they live in another state - tell them to call 1-800-395-5665 to register for a program near them. Or if someone is visiting you, and here during our session they are welcome to visit us here... I'll be at the store today until 3, if there are any late registrants!
