Mr. Claude Vernon "V" Spence

Mr. Claude Vernon "V" Spence Age 69, of Dallas, Ga. Passed away on July 4, 2009.

Mr. Spence was born on June 29, 1940 in Marten Co., Ky. to the late Mr. & Mrs. Claude (Irene James Hill) Spence.

Mr. Spence was married to Mrs. Jewel Muncy Spence. Mr. Spence worked as a District Supervisor in the Auto Finance Industry. Mr. Spence attended Paulding County High School and Graduated from Turner Ashby High School in Harrisonburg, Va. Mr. Spence was a dedicated member of the Local Dallas American Legion.

 

Services for Mr. Claude "V" Spence will be held on Tuesday July 7, 2009 at 12:00 Noon from the Benson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Curtis Turner officiating. Special Music will be provided by Mrs. Fonda Beavers and Mrs. Lisa Carter. Interment will follow in the Paulding Memorial Gardens in Hiram, Ga. The following serving as Pall Bearers: Mr. Bill Watson III, Mr. Bill Watson, Jr., Mr. Frank Williams,Mr. Harold Muncy, Mr. Wayne Kellie

 

Survivors include:

Wife: Mrs. Jewel Muncy Spence of Dallas, Ga.

Son: Mr. Timothy Spence of Acworth, Ga.

Daughter: Mrs. Teresa Ann Spence of Dallas, Ga.

Granddaughter: Mrs. Kacy Dotson of Acworth, Ga.

Great Grandchildren: Zack Goodwin, Derek Dotson, Kya Dotson

Sisters: Mr. & Mrs. Frank (Hazel) Williams of Hiram, Ga. Mr. & Mrs. Bill (Fran) Watson Jr., Mrs. Deloris Mizell of Missouri Brother: Mr. & Mrs. Larry (B.J.) Hill of Dallas, Ga.

Many Nieces and Nephews

Mr. Spence was preceded in death by: Parents: Mr. & Mrs. Claude (Irene Hill) Spence.
